I think your journal is coming out lovely!!! I love your alcohol inks. I'm not sure the alcohol inks are a craft I want to do....but I did get some 91% alcohol to use them so I am going to try it one more time.

The journal papers you're using look great. I like the idea of having some shiny imaged papers, adds a visual 'texture'. And there's plenty of papers for her to journal on too. Definitely like the maps too. How many signatures are you going to make? I've never heard the card game Pit. The Provence book is so fascinating. Great bits to read in it for sure. Great haul Carol. I adored the vintage scalloped edge lace trim, too cute. When you described the Red River paper as luscious, I giggled. All the various paper you got is super duper. Great resources for your journals. The red cinch coil would also be great for a Little Golden Book journal. Take care & blessings Varol. Hope your back hasn't been too painful of late xx.

Hi Carol, though they're not necessarily how you wanted them to go, I think they're artistic & fun. Did you add a little bit of water to the inks to see if it would give you more 'movement'?

I think we all love Little Golden Books. Patricia (Murphy) Scarry is indeed Richard's wife. A great little read about the literacy world of the Scarry's especially in the childrens' world.

Hi Carol, 3 takes for this video, no worries 😁. This book is stunning 💜. Sad news for you to have your boss leaving soon. It's rare to find a boss such as her. Our retirement fund is called 'Superannuation' which is contributed by our employers & we can also add into. I've got a nice amount which if I retire in my early 60s I could get an age pension & top up with super. The Australian government ups the retirement age 😳. Mentally I'm ready for retirement but not financially lol. All the best Carol xx

Hello Carol 🖌🌺, this is a fun video & some great ideas on how to deco up our flowers. Loved the colours you used & the stamped technique was cool. Imagine using a small script stamp or stencil! Love love the embossed painted flower, it looks so cute.

Loving the stained glass candlesticks. I would use stained glass paint on clear and create my own in a variety of colors! Love the pink pot and enamelware plates and bowls are a great memory. I remember many neighbours homes that had hanging frameless mirrors that were so old that there were spots behind the mirror from age. I loved the look of those old mirrors and flowered enamelware. Wish I Hadn’t sold my small enamelware flowered lidded pot. But pictures can help bring us back in time 😊
