So from my understanding it wasn't Fall of Cybertron that killed High Moon. Apparently after the success of FoC activision in their infinite wisdom decided it would be a good idea to get High Moon to make a Deadpool game because that made sense to them. The Deadpool game from memory (because that's also entirely unavailable) was pretty good but massively underperformed and that was why activision sent them to the call of duty mines.

I wasn't into Transformers games, but I enjoyed this video a lot. This is a really good retrospective of the game, and I am really glad that you discussed the game in chapters based on missions. It really helps the discussion a lot.

Just an FYI, High Moon Studios wasn't involved in the development of Rise of the Dark Spark. Most everything from that game was handled by a studio called Edge of Reality, which got shut down soon after the release of Rise of the Dark Spark. There are numerous plot holes in that game that make it non-canon to the Cybertron games and should be viewed as an adjacent timeline.

Cosplay is pretty much like body building lmao. You can't compare yourself to them because you don't know what all went into getting to that final product. Also trusting the process in cosplays is crucial lol, even if it takes hours of sanding or something. Also I'm addicted to barge cement fumes 😵‍💫

I think fire emblem three hopes is the other side of the battles we see in a fire emblem three houses. If a fe game is 30 percent action and 70 percent strategy then the warriors games are 70 action 30 percent strategy. The warriors games compliment fire emblem because they act a representation of what a fire emblem game feels like in real time. As a fire emblem fan I think the warriors games are the best spin off possible, because it enhances core series with lore and character interaction while not feeling out of place for the fire emblem series.

In Indonesia it never left anywhere at all EVERYONE remembers and have played basara (2 heroes) before cuz everyone either own or know someone who owns a ps2 and this game was a massive hit here people love how simple the core gameplay is but since the game itself is so charming and addicting so people here just can't get enough of it, me included like i remember clearly everytime i went home from preschool-elementary school the very first thing that I'm really excited to do was playing basara 2 heroes on my playstation, but the sad thing is the majority of people who played the game was playing the pirated disc version so it didn't count as a sale for capcom and basara itself, since original discs is more expensive and the pirated ones are a LOT cheaper and there's very few game discs stores who actually sells the original version and people here just buy the pirated one (mostly didn't know that it's not the original game) which is sad cuz with how popular the game was (still is) in Indonesia they could've single handedly made basara 2 heroes one of the most successful games of all time if only the original discs are more reachable cuz trust me this game RIVALS games like god of war, tony hawk and crash bandicoot in terms of how popular it is here i didn't realize how long my comment is lmao, just sharing my story

Incredibly well researched and produced video. It’s rare you’ll see someone outside of the fandom cover the interesting and LONG history of this franchise. Warriors games are a gaming guilty pleasure from childhood, the definition of gaming junk food. Super cheap thrills (especially for the mainline series which has been steadily waining for years now) but I’ll always have a soft spot for them. Back on my musou kick at the minute and I’m so glad your video got recommended to me. Look forward to watching the rest of the series!

Okay, I have watched the entire video. Although, I appreciate your passion towards the Sengoku Basara series, but I have to give you an important feedback on this video. Considering this is a retrospective video of Sengoku Basara 2 and 2 Heroes as games, you should be talking more about the games themselves. You spend more time talking about the characters, and their historical lore. One-third of the video, you talk about the anime that doesn't really relate to the main topic of the games retrospective. Barely you covered in-game aspects of these two titles. One suggestion I can give for you to structure your videos better, divide your videos in chapters. Having chapters will allow you to focus on sub-topics better, while keeping the main topic relevant.

New note of small fry grunts. Grunts are a threat under a commander, lieutenant, general, etc. Just not to you (Post DW5), but to your own troops and officers especially if you have Keeps or Strongholds under your control since you dont want your own troops fleeing where they can slow down or even stop advancing forces.

Gotta say man, this is an improvement over the first vid, sure, there wasn't too much to make that much better in the first vid, but I think this is pretty much a "There wasn't much to improve but it's still better quality" situation, basically just more polish is what I'm saying, I think you may have sold me on the Basara series, now if only I could play more than two of them in English without a big freaking asterisk. (That asterisk being Devil Kings obviously, I can't read Japanese so 3 is pretty much the only other game I can play)

So I'm more so watching this because of Flashing Blades recommending the vids, because I did bring up Musou games during one stream, and yes, I'm only now commenting, but still, I did enjoy the video, I think you carried yourself well, I think you explained why you liked the game well, and I do want to check out the other videos. But there is one thing that didn't sit quite right with me, the Samurai Warriors comparison segment, you say you think the game is not bad, but you say almost nothing good about it, you say the gameplay is simpler, and not as satisfying as Bassara, you say stages are open but bland and colorless and lacking in detail, you don't like how there's only 5 characters to start with until you get more, unlike Bassara's 12, you say the music is inferior and doesn't fit the tone or setting, and finally you say the character designs are good but not inspired compared to Bassara, almost everything you say is negative and worse than the game you like, basically just sending the message of "This game is worse than Bassara in almost every way but I don't hate it guys I swear" it just feels like you said it's a decent game just to keep angry comments out, it doesn't really sound like you cared about being objective like you said beforehand, and I agree with a comment that said, "It feels more like a apples to oranges comparison" with that segment. Edit: And also, about the song being cut in the English version, there's also the fact the licensing isn't an easy thing to do, why do you think the Japanese openings for various Mega Man games aren't in the English versions even after the Legacy Collections came out?

Another fun fact about this game is that the rock tracks of the OST were done by Julien-K, a rock band that previously contributed to Sonic Heroes, was known as Orgy in the 90s, and included Chester Bennington under the name Dead by Sunrise.
