Protecting Heaven on Earth 💚
Everyone talks about carbon it's .04 percent of the atmosphere I'm all for saving the planet we should talking about plastic solve the big problems
Very informative, thank you.
I have always loved Maine and always will, such a vast landscape full of beauty with so much to do and so much to see.
Too bad most of it is half a days drive from any civilization. Maine comoared to alot of states is pretty bad in percentage of public land
I show animals for county Fairs too been doing it for 20 years
From an 84 yo Mainer from "away", Thank you for this presentation AND what you are doing.
the oxen are beautiful
many people don't like my idea, but I want to live in Maine. Vacationing and going to family in nova scotia has me full of memories of Maine, Needs to be my home state.
Beautiful video
We have it here in Palmyra.
i love watching this team bull
Wow you guys really have the ideal dream job. Thank you for preserving this natural paradise and all of the animals that call it home
I'm from Maine lived here all my life. You have you're ups and downs like every state I guess.
Gave this a go last summer, great little trip. Signage could be a bit better at some intersections, and some blowdowns, but overall a good three or four day loop.
Preserving the wilderness by bringing in thousands of tourist from down south in every year. Nobody was even in those woods except the animals, before you came to preserve it. And throw trash all along the roads and carve your names into the trees.
This was fun to do.
I laugh at all this all that work and money for something you can ride on for 3 mabie 5 months of the year. And the people that run 4 wheelers side by side get screwed even depending on where you live the guys on 4 wheelers make the trails for the snowmobiles what a joke. Sorry just gets upsetting. Sorry for my opinion
can't use traditional 4 wheelers in deep snow anyway. And wtf do you have against winter recreation? maybe some people want to make what they were going to do already more fun, safer, and more open to everyone instead of just being a selfish ass making unridable trails with moguls. I mean people are going to ride their snowmobiles because they're fun, same as 4 wheelers in the summer. Why not make it more enjoyable for everyone? I suppose you also have a problem with maintance of 4 wheeler trails and mountain roads as well yes?
Where's that big cliff at in maine
Can't wait to get there soon! Thank you for the video
Vat a vanderful plase
Hi there, I would love to buy one but the link doesn't work!
Is there a way to traverse the AWW with out paying a fee? Or is there a map that shows the exact area of AWW so that you can avoid those FEE-dominated areas?
Great video. You absolutely have a world class resource there and i sure hope i get to visit it one day
A MAP specifically displaying the FREE public lands open to the public including FREE camping sites would be very helpful to accompany this video. Otherwise this is nothing more than a pretty PSA.
If you do the slightest amount of research you can find that map, STFU, thanks!
Thank you all of you guys do ,to help and protect our land to maintain our freedom for many generations to come, hopefully 🇺🇸🙏🌞
Boring
Loved living in Northern Maine as far as the gloriousness of the area. Wish more people could see and enjoy its beauty.
Deforesting they claim its good 🤦♀️ Nothing holds soil, so mud floods ect.
😍👍
Does maine have a lot of roads or is it mostly wilderness? I'm thinking about moving there
Hi😅
This video started out nicely , then dissolves into the Pro Forestry propaganda that it is ..
Yes, the seasons are a gift.
very nice !I have a question : Wich all respect. Some of your animals have balls, others not. Is it better to castrate or not ?
Beautiful Maine❤️🌞Love living in country!
Play it safe play all year
Very helpful video
awesome
2:31 Myers Point, Flagstaff Lake?
I had a Maine resident deer Hunter to tell me that he was lucky to see one deer a season and I immediately knew better , I have watched all the videos from local people in Maine and seen all the deer and wildlife and wondered why this guy told me that ,, another thing I don’t understand is why are so many places up north illegal to feed the deer , is there really any difference in putting out corn and going to a standing corn field in wait for to see a deer ,,I don’t think so , either way a guy gets a week to hunt every year and there is always someone else who thinks he should not have the opportunity to participate in the preservation of the health and hunger of the deer he loves to hunt ,, but I would love to visit Maine someday and if I do I hope the bears don’t get me because I would not ever shoot one to eat , that would be way too much for me.
I know this is a year later, but maybe I can shed some light. First of all, that Maine resident hunter probably was not lying to you. To see deer during hunting season in Maine, specifically in the northern regions, you must put in your time and miles on foot. Deer densities are extremely low and visibility in the thick woods is often limited to 30 yards or less. I spent several years adapting to different hunting methods because it’s a different hunting world up here. Sitting in a tree stand is not as productive as it is in the Midwestern states (I’ve lived and hunted both regions). Also, while we do have moose and bear, don’t expect to see them from the road. In my experience, apart from much time spent in the woods, moose sightings are infrequent and bear sightings are rare. In fact, I’ve lived in Maine for 7 years and have yet to see a bear in the state. I do have some trail camera photos of them, but they are elusive animals. As far as feeding the deer goes, it is illegal to bait them during hunting season because it limits the “fair chase” aspect of the hunt. I know there are different views on this, but that’s my preference and what the legislation says so…. Despite hunting being difficult in this state, it is one of the most rewarding places to hunt, and I’ve hunted deer and elk from the northeast to the Midwest to the Rockies.
@@baraksinz2937 thanks for your experience on the subject ,,yes during deer season it is much harder to see deer anywhere,,,and I will tell you that if you ever bait deer , you will find it is much harder to see a mature buck at the bait than it would be if you did not bait in daylight that is , but at night they will come right to it. It has been legal here in North Carolina to bait deer for fifty years. And yes it is much more fun when you don’t hunt there and just sit on the edge of a corn field , or an apple orchard,,half of the county I live in is apple orchard,,,and they are sold all over the world from here.
It is my understanding that native americans used to do controlled burning before the Europeans came. If that is true, they may have known that overgrown forests, if too choked, then certain wildlife, even insects & then trees, cant thrive in a choked forest...i can only hope the source I read was true. However, I think it would be great if trees could be culled rather than widespread slashed/burned. But I dont know enough about it. I heard that if you plant a tree, and someone doesnt make sure it is consistent ly watered, it dies. So are those charities that claim to plant thousands of trees watering them?
the forests are designed to burn by nature, it's logging land and re-planting that's the problem. In nature they'd all be at different stages, but because they were planted all the trees are in the same space, overcrowded, and compete. this makes the fires larger, hotter, and less controlled. Naturally there would be some trees standing after a fire and new trees and underbrush would replace it, but not when they're all packed like matches.
So lucky to have a spot in Maine
After you cut an area, do you use herbicides?
Damned Weyerhauser and other polluters do.
Love those tuckers
Lived in central Maine for 6 years. Owned a home in a small town. Had a paper mill close by. And one of Maine's major rivers.
Was it the jay mill
Is this a joke? All the cozy crap they speak in here is PR bull. If Cutko really believed what he was saying they would be against Spain-owned CMP/Avangrid/Iberdrola's corridor. Didn’t they lease land without consulting the people of Maine with back door deals....very shady if you ask me. Iberdrola and Avangrid pay you to spew this propaganda. So many lies in this video it’s sickening.
Actions speak louder than words. What a bunch of BS. If Cutko et al. really believed the words in this, they would be against Spain-owned CMP/Avangrid/Iberdrola's corridor. Leasing public land to them for it WITHOUT consulting the people of Maine, considering the damaging ecological effects, and not keeping any records of those closed-door transactions is an abuse and contradictory to what is stated. 5:30- "We are managing it, but it's the public's land, the public has a really important voice in how that land should be managed." "There's a lot of planning that's involved there, and we really need to hear from the public, adjacent land-owners, interest groups, really anyone who has a stake which is the state of Maine, and frankly beyond. So there's a lot of relationship management that happens. It's kind of like one big small town, and that's a really nice thing as far as working together, getting along, trying to be responsive to both the resource and the public, and finding balance there." Disgusting.
The boys club, and we're not in it. Bribes, bully, threaten and intimidate to get what they want.... I wonder if Maine leaders got new yahts for their agreement in that transaction. I am one of many that got extorted by cmp, and funny how puc "found nothing wrong". Hmmmm. Bought out/sold out.
