This truck started as a builder's kit from redcat.
I installed the axe motor/esc system from hobby wing, and all Treal brand aluminum axle housings, brass hubs and portal housings, and Treal 30% overdrive gears in the front differential.
Desert Lizard 100mm Internally Sprung Shocks setup with the longest and softest springs, and 30w oil in the rear with 50w oil in the front.
In this video I'm running the Pro-Line BFGoodrich KM3's with proline Dual Stage Foam (Soft outer-Stiff Inner) in the rear and Crawler Innovations Dual stage foams (Soft Outer-Medium Inner) in the front.

Hey bro! I saw your comment on my channel. :54 seconds is a great example of what I am about to explain. Droop really helps the truck stay controlled on climbs and keeps the wheels from flexing down too much. the shock stays mostly compressed, even when there is no pressure. It lowers the COG significantly. It also keeps the front end from raising on steep climbs. The Desert Lizards are an excellent shock for this. For the front, 50 wt oil, and the disc with 3 holes, and the hard spring on top with the medium long spring on the bottom will do you well. It will look like it's compressed when it's not. Try it. There is a HUGE difference. For the rear, use the shock disc with 1 hole, and everything else should be the same.

Those desert lizard w/droop setup are legit. I’ve got all the brass portals and diff covers so I ordered the 100mm ones in black I can’t wait till Tuesday man lol. Your running the longest softest spring?
Yessir longest softest spring that comes preloaded in them. Running 30 weight oil in the front and 40 weight in the rear
@@Quaddaroy I’ve got 35 weight I’m gonna try all the way around cause it all I got. Lol. But my terrain is a little different I’m in the northeast it’s cold af and do a little trail riding at times. Anyways man I’ll dial it I’m sure. Thank you for the input. I’m glad I seen this video those have been in my cart for some time. Soon as seen your axe do work I went right over and bought them before finishing video. Anyways happy crawling bro.
