does “blink cinema” actually have a streaming service before? how come i didn’t know about a tv channel that caters textmates? i have no idea gma network had a cable tv channel and it’s been since the 90s? was there actually a secondary channel of myx? all, and amongst other questions, are answered in this video.
i finally got a stab of creating lost media-type video but related to ident/tv so we’re going to discuss further about the channels which are, in my opinion, obscure and mysterious. some of which are already familiar for most people who are enthusiastic about tv channels, like me. unless there’re some infos not mentioned in this vid, comment down below and provide us source/s that you think should be significantly added in this vid.
the idea of this new so-called “lost media” or “dark” format project started on december 2021, took inspiration from "Pieces of Filipino Lost Media" czcams.com/video/3paoDqTUi5E/video.html from @PhilippineTelevisionArchives, most of the vids from @EverythingMediaPH (the channel also affiliated to PTA) and of course the “lost media” format in general, through @blameitonjorge and @JustinWhangYt's lost videos, and begin to search for some mysterious channels which haven’t been talked about in a video.
the project was almost abandoned on september 2022 due to no progress on continuing the research, not to mention 10 channels were the initial target for this video. it was relived on april 2023 and the target of 10 were reduced down to 5 channels. coz other than the hell of an experience recording & editing voice-overs for just 1 channel, let alone 10 channels, some of them were either already covered by Everything MediaPH czcams.com/video/m0sv8zKzJ2g/video.html or some were just very hard to source out information online, not to mention wikipedia is no help sometimes.
yep. it took me that long to produce and it’s also due to my laziness and kinda hesitant to create a vid with a different format. not to mention, i have work.
(other remarks) i only represent 1 channel for each segment as a segment title, namely the 1st and 2nd one, as it has the most mentions, a more significant one and it has more photos featured than other channels for that specific segment.
