Dr Grande seems like a psychopath actually

I know someone who works in a psych ward. To help the patients paranoid about the food, he lets them help prepare food, on slow days when he has time to oversee them doing it. It gives them something to do, helps them see there's nothing in the food and gives them a sense of purpose and power that they're preparing food for themselves and their fellow patients.

A very sad topic but it needs to be talked about, so thanks for taking us carefully on this educational journey

I can't help but feel if you take drugs it's your own damn fault if you develop psychosis and cause problems. Maybe there should be something that 16-year-olds sign in school that says if you take drugs your insurance won't cover your possible treatment costs for the consequences.

I find Dr Grande's sarcastic comments and personal opinions off-putting personally. He tends to take jabs at people just because he has a personal bias.

Is anyone 'just an a-hole'? I'm wondering about over-diagnosis and the boundary between healthy variation in our personalities and pathological personality. You addressed this slightly when you mentioned 'traits' rather than a full disorder.

That's sad about Ms C and her paranoia. It could well be that people around her were taking advantage of her paranoia and winding her up more. Then again, she shouldn't have taken drugs.

If someone consistently refuses to take their medication, is resistant to several attempts at therapy and has repeatedly tried to take themselves out of this world, is it decided by doctors to let them free out of the ward to complete their 'goal'? I assume there's only so long you can keep them in anyway?

Absolutely agree with you on all points Dr Das - real life is not black & white. We all contradict ourselves, our memories are flawed, and most of us would look strange if engaged in an interview with Piers. Nothing in that interview confirmed that she’s a liar or mentally unwell.

Early on I didn’t realise that it was bipolar, or what it was. I was using alcohol in the evening to cope with the stresses I was having and also to get to sleep. The next day I would be hungover on not that much alcohol, but then in the afternoon I would go high. You can’t tell people about it, because things would happen like I’d be working at the computer and I couldn’t stop thinking about sex which included visuals. Then I got very depressed, ended up on an antidepressant that made me manic. Then I got a diagnosis. Also had an afternoon of dysphoric mania. Not recommended, it is how people die.

You aren't taking it out of context. JP is a prime example of those who cannot do, teach. He's been drugging himself since he can remember, and he had his 13-year-old daughter put on antidepressants, opioids, and amphetamines. He almost died from an adverse reaction to all the benzos he was taking on top of SSRIs and, all in all, he has never used a single piece of his own advice in his own life and family. Look into JP in depth, you will be surprised. Also look into Trump, leaving your lefty bias at the door. He is Asperger's but not psychopathic. Thank me later. I've subscribed.

I have a TRIO of stalkers and harassers within my community. So much for "loving your neighbour as yourself"...but they aren't Christian, and that speaks volumes regarding what the Bible says and what the world says about "mental health issues"...As my personal and most current stalkers/harassers have been doing such to me for several years now...to the point of having dead animals found on my property amongst other "items" and traces of such, to which I do not want to post exact details of here...not sure if these people are trying to intimidate me or they are just trying "scare tactics"...as wolves always come in packs. They are never just ONE individual, they are many. But most victims only "see" one individual who does the actual "physical foot work" so to speak. The rest of them hide behind their computers or phones and do that type of "foot work"...like texting, harassing, gas lighting, spamming, hacking, theft, ID theft, scams, doxing, messaging of another sort etc... on social media accounts of many kinds, to which I also have been victim to. SICK AND TIRED OF THEM!

I think you need to do a deep dive into this case, there is so much more than what you have mentioned. Parents are guilty. The death happened days before and that gave them time to work out a staged 'abduction' and gave them time to temporarily place Maddy somewhere. What about the forged last photo? What about the blood splatters? What about the cadever found? Dogs don't lie. People do. Including a bunch of well to do professionals who would do anything to save face.
