While climate change is a . the local level. The local communities of Africa are plagued by poverty, disease, and ignorance. Poverty is both a cause and effect of climate change. Millions of dollars which should be used to address climate change have ended up in the accounts of the rich and powerful. Africans should find sustainable solutions to poverty, within a framework of strategic partnerships. This is very urgent!

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These shifts may be natural, such as through variations in the solar cycle. But Since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.

Nothing comes into the existence without the word. The summit is great hope and real awareness of this BIG ELEPHANT "CLIMATE CARE" a duty for us all.

This is a great moment in Africa's Political and Environmental history. A time to reassert our stance, ideology and thoughts. And adopt(based on a common consensus) a rational and realistic way forward in resolving the climate change crisis. We must remember that for any meaningful action to take place in our collective effort to redesign and implement a new african climate change strategy, there is an absolute need for Africa's current leadership to manifest a collective political will. That of uniting under a common voice (with no political strings attached) to set the stage towards a realistic solution to the problem of climate change in Africa, but also the world over, given that this is a global problem and the global community of nations must reason , agree and act together in the resolution of this problem, by thinking globally and acting locally. I pray that the delegates and government present in Kenya, draw inspiration from the vision of Kenya's president by agreeing to set a new dispensation to combat climate change, with a realistic generation of clean energy which for now constitute the continent's greatest hope in orchestrating a turn around and a revolution in the use of clean energy to forster Afrca's economic development.
