We took a trip on the Carnival Radiance and the kids had just recently performed a dance with their performing arts school prior to sailing. I dont care for the food at the Local either. The wings are decent though.
The wings actually used to be really good, but they are not the same. They used to fry them so the outside was a lil crisp, but now they taste boiled or baked.
Eggs in the Haven are definitely better. All egg dishes there use real eggs. If you go to the MDR or buffet, the scrambled eggs are those egg beater "eggs".

I believe Royal has a dock at their private island, no tendering. NCL is building a dock at GSC and its expected to be finished by late 2025.

Interesting how much you guys eat outside the Haven. The Haven has the best breakfasts. But I know the menu gets old but I love you guys exploring all over.
We ate at the Haven almost everyday for breakfast and dinner, but Indulge really impressed us. On the other ships we stick to the haven but the Indulge on Prima was great.
You guys are such a wonderful couple. Such positive energy. The way you spoke about being indirectly challenged for being in the Haven was quite amazing without anger. That is truly positive energy.

That used to be our tradition because it was a specialty option, but was complimentary to Haven guests on the first day. Now it’s complimentary to everyone but we decided to go anyway. 🙂

New sub. We did the Prima last summer to Norway and Iceland. It was very cold and the outside areas were not usable because of the temperature. The itinerary was great but we could never get in to Sid Norman’s or the comedy club. We weren’t in the haven just an inside cabin. Maybe if we were in the haven we would have liked the ship better.
Yes it’s definitely suited better for the Caribbean. Some of those areas are definitely small and the layout wasn’t the best. But yes the haven made it much more enjoyable and less crowded. Thanks for the sub and thanks for watching! 🤙🏽

I love your videos. I was on the first 3 sailing of the Prima open to the General Public. I was in the solo cabin. I loved the food and the entertainment. I didn’t like the small venue.

I went to all the specialties restaurants the 35 days I was on the ship. I Loved the Observation Deck on the new ship. I was not waiting over a hour to get into Syd Norman. I was disappointed everyone told me how great it was.

If the airfare special was that good, all you needed to do was ask for a variance, it's like $25.00 each, and you can fly up to 3 days early. You can get that by calling to make your reservation for the cruise, and asking the rep that books you.
We tried everything and they said it was a group booked flight and they couldn’t change it. We went through NCL, the airline, we tried it all. Thanks though, we just book our own flights now lol. 😄

Yes! Our favorite ship is the Bliss. We will be on its sister ship, the Encore this week. They are both beautiful and we love the layout. Any of the Breakaway class ships are really great. Thanks for watching!

First off - Happy Anniversary! Sailing Prima Haven in Dec. Did you guys tip your butler your first day or last day and, if I may ask, how much did you tip. You guys seem very laid back and chill where your butler was concerned (as are we). I'm really confused on Norwegian tipping policy. Thanks so much!
Thank you! Yes, we do tip the butler the first day with half of what ever we plan to give them for the trip. Consider $10-$20 per day depending on the length of the trip and how often you use them. We don’t use them much, but occasionally need their help. We also tip our bartenders, servers in the haven restaurant and any other staff daily that we will regularly be in contact with. They work hard and we definitely reward those that look out for us. Thanks for watching! 🤙🏽

Usually total but varies depending on how often we utilize their services. We usually don’t but will tip them anyway just for bringing the snacks and other small things.

Do you get to hear what you love on cruises?
Yes. Though sometimes I have to request they play my favorites.
I have a master packing list. I make a copy of it and mark things off as I pack them. I bring the list with me and use it again when the trip is over and I'm repacking. I've only ever forgotten 1 thing. We had an overnight flight and i forgot to grab my sunglass clip that goes over my glasses.

Is there beach access from the property?
Yes, there is a shuttle that can take you down to Garza Blanca (the family side) and you can access the beach from there. We spent a day there, you can see it in the video. Thanks for watching!

We’re Carnival fans, due to we cruise with our kids and their kids youngest being 21 and they absolutely love cruising carnival due to all the fun. we are going on our first princess cruise to Alaska in 2025, just husband and I. Hoping we will enjoy it as much as we do with all of our family on Carnival.
