The DUTCHMAN"S JOURNAL is about starting to homestead at the age of seventy-one. Taking on various DIY projects. Starting a garden in a wooded area and growing vegetables on top of tree stumps and roots. Making my own soil from composted leaves. Enjoying my successes and learning from my set backs. Then, there's the pleasure of being able to spend countless hours with nature. Tracking, trapping and observing wild life in the field. Savoring the flavor of the meals that the game that I catch provides me. Being able to record and share some of the knowledge that I've collected over the years, becomes the icing on the cake.

We call this the Krylon Camo job cool
Very nice garden. I love this video boss. I have been learning a lot about black soldier flies this year. Thanks for the great info and I’m subscribing now!!
I'm doing something similar to my truck different colors but yours looks awesome
Thanks!
How offended you run mist
Great job 👏 looks fantastic
Uau
Hi - I have been pickling eggs for years and never tried putting onion in with the eggs. I have to say it make the jar look a bit of a mess and surely it complicates the removal of each egg when you want one? Does it noticibly improve the eggs flavour? Oh and you might want to review how many times you say "go ahead" per vid (it's quite a lot).
i make them with red onions all the time just chop them up like the video and they are actually pretty good to eat along with the eggs!
Nice video
The oil taste nasty to the coon so they will eat a piece and go on because it’s nasty put around the trap
I love home made tools. Well done
They look amazing ! Great video. Fun and straight to the point. Can’t wait to try mine.
Wow, that's amazing. Thank you for share this idea.
Thanks for the great plans. I will be making my quite today. Again thank you
thank you for sharing your ideas, I love your coop setup. I would love to see construction video, and where you've found the cheapest place to buy paneling. Thank you
Great intro music
Looks great and such a great idea!
Wowwwww..thats awsome...great tutorial...
Very god paintjob. But i would have also painted the door bumpers. Nice.....
i am thinking a deer blind
That’s what I was looking up. I’ve decided to give this a try czcams.com/video/fhMcmXvzgNM/video.html . I might build a platform for it but I’m afraid the wind would be rough on it lol. I’ve also seen where they take a single panel and use t posts to make a circular blind and make the dome for the roof with pvc pipe
Very good good job 👍
Simple but so neat looking. Love the design.
Great, i like farming 🙏🏻❤️👍
Well done! Most people do not realize the trees move... sometimes a lot! Thanks for the video.
👍🙏
Thank you for posting
I love to mulch with sycamore leaves, its to bad someone keeps cutting down our tree that produces lots of leaves =/
Good design and well made. Love your ethos.
Hello Dutchman.... thank you for your time... am I understanding you correctly that you do not use any actual soil and instead plant entirely into this leaf mould mixture?... do you have issues with plants not rooting strongly into the leaf mould?
Thank you so much for sharing this!
Don’t use steel wool, use a sharp razor. I work at an auto glass shop
What is the height using the 7x12 dimensions? Great job
love the look but i assume the roof leaks when it rains?
Two things. First, paint the wheels. Deers can see them wheels and will know something is up. Second, damn ... do something to knock the glare off all that damn glass. I mean REALLY, what is the purpose of wasting all that paint, time, and effort and still have windows you can see from space?
Need more green and khaki
Very impressive!!
200 kg ptato seed need emeadiatly
best rattle can car paint job ever. can you post the amazon link for the plant template kit you used? haha
Great! Subscribed; will be back for more...
Hi there could I plant these in the fall season
very nice job sir. I started with a 8 x 12 and in two years expanded to 8 x 24.
Woodglut has very good and accurate plans.
Great job I’m gonna do mine that way! Your friend in the backwoods of Kentucky
Seems good so far! Was easy to talk to about his My Shed Plans [Go Here=> *WoodBlueprints. Com* ]. Guided me in the right direction & helped me understand everything & in the end it was what I wanted
when i built our shed i used a plan from *WoodBlueprints. Com* and it had all the blueprints, supplies, materials, and list well laid out for me.
I like your door idea. Thanks
Why did you put the smallest side facing south? I would have had a long side facing south.
Wonderful. Thanks for posting this.
