Nice to hear from you and happy for you that the “dust settled in your life”❤ Julie you mentioned that you don’t drive in UK because you don’t have the licence. Not sure if you drive back in BC but you can exchange your Canadian licence to UK one. That what I did: when moved to UK exchanged without any issue to U driving licence. Now I retired and moved back to British Columbia and replaced my UK licence to BC. Best Wishes!

Your jars are beautiful! I'm using your technique for a Mothers Day jar and I am adding a poem to the jar. So I want a simple background. I'm going to try tissue paper for gift wrapping instead of napkins. Will let you know if it's a success!

Scotch tape on one edge of the liner layer will make it easy to separate and not wet the napkin

This is very interesting, I have this amazing granddaughter that is a new mom, first time homeowner. and is in love with Sunflowers. I am hoping for my mind to settle on something handy to make some of these jars using sunflowers I'm trying to come uip with something.. this girl even puts sunflowers on her Christmas Tree LOL .. wondering about making a set to put in her Guest Bath that has a Pump jars for "hand soap, and one for Mouthwash... and maybe Hand lotion" .. so like three jars.. and getting a cute metal container to hold all the jars and some disposable cups to use for the mouth wash.. ??? any thoughts ??? anyone ???

Hi - nice video with lots of tips. You didn't mention what kind of paint you used initially to paint the jar. It looked like a can - so maybe house paint? Tips on what NOT to use would be helpful, too. Going to visit our grandchildren next week while parents are away. I was thinking this would a be a great project - working a little bit each evening. Thank you

Hi what type of paint you used for the first coat pls

I tried mulberry paper for the first time. I printed a butterfly butterfly design I created myself through canva. I thought it was recommended to paint the jar first with white chalk paint, then let dry overnight. I did that and added the mulberry paper. It tuned out amazing until I added fairy lights. It looks horrible, but I really wanted lights or a tea candle. It shows a bumch of lines, and you can't see the butterfles. Any recommendations on how to achieve this? 😢
