The first guy was Lemmy?
Oh I keep coming back to this "once in a while". Amazing track
❤️❤️❤️
going to a U2 concert back in 2002 wass the high light of my life
Big 4? There's only one God!
STFU... Lars lol no one cares about your forced opinions... 😂
What I loved was all three of these legends had something to say. Ronnie made an impression in they're lives someway or another. Great interview 👍
I was really hoping that i would see HH again that day. But just a week or two before the concert he died. I saw him in Austria a few years before that. I can't believe 12 years have already passed.
Mustaine looks like a fun guy
Still miss him!!!R.I.P. Ronnie!🤘
1:31 young John Lithgow
It's amazing how just one person can touch so many heart's..
The dickhead that destroyed Metallica
Rest easy Ronnie.
I'll never forget hearing Dio first sing with Rainbow and just thought "wow-this guy has a HUGE voice" back in late 70s..... when Sabbath got him I thought "this will be good" & that Heaven and Hell album is still one of my favorites.......
Dave had no idea he was next to fight cancer.
Back in the 80's I took a chance to see Ronnie in El Paso Texas and the show was sold out!! Couldn't get a ticket even from a scalper, was bummed but my friends went in and I listened to the concert outside! His voice pierced through the building like I was inside the arena. Like he knew I couldn't get inside and he sang louder so I could enjoy the concert! That was my thought. His voice was so powerful like nothing I had heard before, well maybe Rob Halford of Judas Priest! Ronnie was and will always be one of the best singers of my era hands down!! Always thought he was English but turns out he was from Bedford New Hampshire of all places! I used to live in New Hampshire, Bedford is a very small town. Good to see a small town boy make a huge name for himself, the world misses you Ronnie, you will always be remembered for your contributions in music!
Very good interview all three showed much love for the man and interesting stories.
Ian is featured In every metal documentary
🤘😛🤘 Dio will live forever.
RIP
Love Dave
I watch this intervies min. once a year! I miss Ronnie! This is the final conclusion! 😒 Long live RR Ronnie! 🤘
I love all the good things they had to say about Dio. I was definitely a fan.
DIO was great….but he was suffering from the abuse sharon Osbourne un leashed on him
The man taught other “stars” how to act and treat fans. That, and how to BRING IT for decades!!!🤘🏻

Whether you like him or not you can’t deny his talent
One thing I always find endearing about Lars is his genuine love and fanaticism of heavy metal. Metal was fairly new at the time. As a kid he was one of those super fans that knows everything about all the bands, even obscure underground bands, at an age where most kids were still playing with toys and shit.
@@whataboutthesituation1273 Based off your comment alone, I’m going to guess you’re not a musician and probably under the age of 20. Maybe even under 18.
New , well yes and not. It started around 1968, so he saw Purple in 1973. Yes. No because when he formed metallica it was a decade over
@@Nissardpertugiu When you say 1968, do you mean mostly Black Sabbath, or who else?
@@Dan.Solo.Chicago Blue Cheer, Budgie, Zeppelin, Purple...
it’s always so cool to see dave mustaine the original metallica lead guitar
Metallica's best guitarist, with James being a close second.
Long love rock and roll
the big four? what a joke. Where is Slayer!?!?!?!?
Its nice to know our boys know they stand on the shoulders of giants.
Love Lars! He seems so genuine when he talks and there is no denying of the inspiration he says to have had from Ronnie when RJD was in Rainbow! On the Tour of Metallica "Load" 1997 The whole Rainbow Rising Album was being played Loud through the speakers 🔊 During the stage preparation in all Arenas accross the nation!🤘
Imagine smoking a joint with Ronnie James Dio
Rock on love listening to the stories. He sounded like a great man. God bless him. I have grown up listening to that awesome rock voice . I have learned a lot from watching DIO 😁🙏🏻🤘🏻✌🏻
Take the sunglasses off dickhead.
Dickhead for sure! He seems to be giving more credit to sports than Ronnie as an influence in Music. And why would he be surprised that Ronnie would be into sports?🤔. From the rest of the guys this Man was the most Idiot of them All in my opinion!
Saw Dio with Megadeath opening back in the day🤘
Yup..1987 "Dream Evil Tour" I was there🤘
It's sad that no matter what interview it is you can always feel tension with Dave and any Metallica members. RIP Dio you're a Fkn legend bro
RJD is the Godfather of metal, non debatable. His voice is iconic and he is truly missed,we love ya Ronnie James Dio 🤘
I don't understand how all these religious assholes were giving Ronnie shit about being a devil worshiper and glorifying Satan. I mean did they even listen to the fucking lyrics? All of his songs, even with Sabbath, he is clearly stating to beware of the dark side, that there are dire consequences for dabbling in black magic and all of that shit. "The devil is never a maker, the less that you give, you're a taker." He never once praised Satan or endorsed darkness and evil. People are so fucking stupid, it's just tragic. And the horn symbol is from his old Italian grandmother, who was raised in the old country. That sign was to ward off the evil eye and turn dark energy back against the sender.
@@blaineedwards8078 I think it was fear and imagery. You have to admit, some of his album logos were scary for the day. But, like you said, if you listened to his lyrics, you could see he was the exact opposite of a devil worshiper. Back then though, there was hardly anyway to get the truth and people wanted to ruin what they didn't understand or feared.
Lo Capo di tutti Capi 😃😃
Any great vocalist tells you to stay away from alcohol and smoking. That's amazing that he drank a beer and smoked half a joint and could belt out with the best of em
You said it...Half a joint and a beer! He didn't abused it and that's when it becomes a problem and plus he was gifted and blessed as a child with an extraordinary voice! He was for the most part a straight guy in the R&R business if you compare it to the life of R&R musicians or the life of any in the music business. Now let's be fair!🤣
I think that Dio didnt have that kind of addictive personality. Many artist cant handle booze and drugs but Dio could.
I love him in Pick of Destiny
