Why?🤦🏻♂️
What did the Beatles ever do to Milton Berle?
He was best know for his oversized member!
Dreadful !!!!!!
I can’t believe it!!!!
Why?
This song was in the movie "I am Sam" that I didn't see as Sean Penn annoys.. Now for an in-depth analysis of Nowhere Man and Replacements songs: He's as blind as he can be 'cause they're blind they don't hold the Replacements in the light Making all his nowhere plans for nobody - Still in love with nobody and I won't tell nobody Leave it all 'til somebody else lends you a hand - Take me by the hand, man, raise a toast to a rock 'n' roll ghost Making all his nowhere plans for nobody - but hey, Gary's got a boner.
This versions gets to the "heart" of the song and cuts away all the "fat" of The Beatles version.
Pats not dead he lives in us when you're world 🌎 is in the shit listen to the smithereens and a couple of drinks and your good to go!
who the hell was this for?
Parents…so they could own those damn kids.
Without a doubt, the most bizarre comedy record issued by the small VMC label, best known for it's one-hit wonder song "Everybody Knows Matilda" by James Blake, under the stage name of Duke Baxter. The reference to Tiny Tim being shot at then left to be drowned seems kind of cruel, but weirdly funny in a way.
Never heard "change the kilocycles" instead of kilohertz (radio frequency) especially since MHz is used.
apparently kilocycles was the common vernacular until the 60s.
AM radio is 540 to 1610 khz
Indeed radio was a broadcast one and AM quite popular. Early on some FM stations used M.C. not MHz in describing freq
This flat out f****ng rocks.
"Leave Your Name on the answering machine"
My little brother Chris battled with depression and committed suicide by taking an overdose of his psych meds he told me he didn't want to live anymore I loved my little brother Chris and I long to see him again in heaven every time I hear this song it brings tears to my eyes.
Sweet pop ballad with a driving rock beat
Play this at my funeral :,]
Great song & lovely video
Pat was kind enough to listen to one of my songs. He was generous and I believe genuine. He said I was an excellent guitarist. That was the day I knew I was a musician.
I was there!
I love this song. I love Lucinda. I find her very sexy and she sings with so much emotion. Love you Lucinda!!!!
what an incredible helosonic guitar solo... i think val mc callum and greg leisz did it. can elvis costello plays like this??
got to be Val
Probably my favorite Bill Lloyd solo lp, which is saying something as they are all minor pop masterpiece's..
Such a pure honest sound! I was impressed when it first came out and I still am today!
My favourite Beatles song by my favourite American punk band. Love it.
Epocali! Pat di Nizio forever!
Can't get this song out of my mind. Go to see them in 2015 at bb kings in ny city. We were 5 ft from the stage and Pat was in his element. Im a NJ guy but i live in the city, pats daughter was there to see the show. They played everything and it was awesome! To say the least, he had a way with words, you will be missed. RIP PAT DiNizio, you shared your music and left the world better place, thank you!
The sun is not shining today Pat because you are gone.RIP.
Thanks for the music Pat. Your work is a big part of my life. RIP

One of my favorite albums of ever.
Lucinda Williams "Seeing Black". From the LP "Blessed," 2011. Inspired by the late singer/songwriter Vic Chesnutt, and featuring guitar from Elvis Costello.
Pat DiNizio is the best pop thief since Nick Lowe. Can't beat this homage to the Beach Boys and British Invasion bands. Only a memory? Hope not.
Not defending or offending your comment but what songs specifically are do think he "borrowed" from other past bands on. I never thought of them copying anyone but some songs have a Beatle-esqe quality and some The Beach Boys/Zombies even though I've never even owned a Beach Boys album, cd or cassette (or Zombies). No denying they did some great songs. I think I discovered the Beatles when I was 14 then the Smithereens at 16. I was really captured by their dreamy sound and Pat's lyrics and of course singing style that is little like Elvis Costello but way more melodic and a little dark. "Green Thoughts" was my favorite of theirs and meeting Pat at a small music venue and asking him "so what are green thoughts???" is one of the highlights of my life. He looked at me amused like no one had asked him that before.
@@222Lightning One of my favorite bands, too. Some of the best popular music employs themes and arrangements that honor champions of the past.
I love the song but I've always hated her voice. Wish Cowboy junkies or Patti Smith sang this outstanding song
What an ignorant thing to say. Whose voice do you like?
She has an incredible voice!!!
@@smwrbd you've got to wonder why someone who has always hated her voice would click on a video where you know she's singing and then take the time to comment. A special breed of complete loser!
I've heard people say that. All I can say it's imperfectly perfect.
Great tune!
