Instructions on how to remove a radio from a Honda Civic 2022-2023.
Thank you for getting straight to the point!
Brother I changed my screen, but now it’s asking for a code where I can get the code please answer thank you very much
Hi mate, Where is the centre dash speaker?😊
Asking for radio code any idea where can I find?
I bought the 9 inch display unit. I could takeoff my 7 inch head, but I don’t know how to take off the computer from the screen so I can try and connect the 9 inch. How do I do this?
question can i connect the external AMP elements cables on that radio?
I have a 2022 honda civic sport and I was wondering if I buy a 2022 touring model head unit could I just do a plug in play? The reason for this being that the touring models got android auto wireless and other features such as connecting to wifi and what not for updates and making it easier to hack into if I would want to change it some apps down the line? I can buy the headunit but if it won't work I don't really want to be spending the money, just wondering if someone else have done this/or if someone already knows if this works or not. Tried calling some dealerships got nothing from that.
Not possible, already tried. Different connectors
Anybody installed a pioneer, alpine, sony, or kenwood yet?
I just saw where metra is coming out with a new install kit
This looks easier than trying to take one out of the 2022 Elantra lol.
What type of prying tool you use.
Please share how to remove a A pillar cover.
Thank you. Instructions were dead on. 👍🏾
Thank you so much!!!
I was doing this to my 2023 and something made it so that the car wont turn on at all 💀
you saved me with this video!!
Do you know if that radio will fit on a 2023 crv. I want to upgrade my 2023 crv but they dont have a radio for it yet. But they have one for this civic and it looks the same as the crv
Is there a wire connector already on the top center dash behind that head unit to be able to install a tweeter speaker? Or is that wire that’s showing when you took off that center top part off something that was disconnected from the radio?
Brother if you see this, which harness is the input and which is the output thank you very much for the informational video
This looks like it could fit an aftermarket single DIN radio with a floating display (e.g. Alpine Halo). Just need Metra or someone to make a trim kit!
Exactly what I’m thinking I want the pioneer floating screen but no one has a radio kit for this 11th gen yet🤦🏻
just get the touring screen with 9 inch display same oem
The metra website has one coming out soon....always buy aftermarket....the sound quality is always much better!
What holds the part that's against the back of the screen?
Brackets it’s in the video and 4 screws
Dide thank you I was looking for a video on how to remove the airvents
Installed after market andriod multimedia not working
Please tell me Multimedia wires
For?
Speaker wires?
Are there any unused usb ports in the back of the stereo
Do you know if the 9inch would fit from the touring
Yea bro the factory 9 inch Display has the same exact clips at the bottom and is the same size to be able to fit in the original location of the original factory 7 inch display. The only thing is is I don’t know if the connectors are the same in the back of the head unit as the head unit with the 7 inch display.. but if you look at the bottom of them they are exactly the same and the brackets are the exact same the only differences is that the 9 inch display is of course a few inches taller but the width is the same.
@@chrisjames5560 Did you ever figure out if its possible to install the 9 inch one? And if you do, do you get wireless CarPlay and Android Auto?
is it possible to install the larger 9 inch one?
It will probably not fully work with the half-digital gauge cluster, could be wrong though
Curious as well, I’m waiting for a junkyard to get the 9 inch so I can try and pop it in.
Did anyone ever find out of the 9 inch upgrade is possible? Hoping to do that with my Hatchback Sport.
The 9 inch display does fit perfectly from what I found out doing some research and comparing both of them but the question is Kennett plug in without any issues or even plug-in at all the connectors might be different in the back of the head units but if the connectors are the exact same or could be made it to work and plug-in to the existing wiring harness that’s good but there’s still the question of it being able to actually function and run properly like it supposed to do that idk yet
@@chrisjames5560 the harness connectors will probably be the same apart from maybe the one for connecting the 4G LTE of the 9” head unit to an antenna, both the 7” and 9” units do have CANBUS access so the vehicle settings will probably apply just fine, but you’ll have do it twice as I’m sure Honda had no intention of synchronizing what the gauge cluster vehicle settings screen set vs the head unit sent to the ECU/BCM
nice, holy shit it’s simple hahaha way to go honda
Honda hayat onda bizim ülkemizde en çok tutulan araç 👍💯💯💯👑🇹🇷
Can you put 3rd party floating radio set like kenwood pioneer sony in there ?
Not yet seance there isn’t a kit
I believe metra makes a kit
@@Loso0523 can you share your link
Its not out yet...the website says coming soon
I can’t mr steven it was only a bass addition so the car is no longer here but if another income I’ll make sure to post pics or send it to you
