My issue with molding clay exactly to something is the shrinkage so, when dry/baked the hole is too small for it to fit. Does polymer clay not shrink a teensy bit when baked?🤔🤷🏼♀️
Polymer clays shrinks a minuscule amount, generally it’s negligible.

If coloring many pieces in bulk can you bake them to set the colors?
There’s no need to bake to set the colors, they are permanent on metal after drying.

Do you know of any light ups for several, separate beads?
All I can think of is maybe you could use one of those necklaces that you find that has all the lights on it.

Depends what you are trying to accomplish. Thread is going to drape and dangle, whereas wire can be shaped into the position you want.

Can you use gold permanent ink on rubber stamps? Can you use kids ink pads that are waterproof?Thanks
I would suggest trying everything! I can’t give you definite answers because every ink has different formulations. Also, they might work differently on different brands of clay.

If you can add, you can make any thickness you want. Stack together fives and sixes, and there you go, 11. 😀
I just bought one and I agree with you. It doesn’t close the loop all the way but it’s still a great tool. Did a chain link in an hour which would have taken at least 2 hours.

Hi, great video. One question here, when you put the clay in the oven, nothing happens to the Crystals? And what about the metal. You put all together in the oven? They stick one with the other?
The oven is at such a low temperature that it does not affect the glass or metal. Glass melts at around 1500°F and metal at an even higher temp, so no worries about baking them at 275°F!

Are the coil ends supposed to be smashed flat? I thought they were supposed to stay round but maybe Im wrong. Please if you can clarify🙏
Yes, you have to squash down the coils. That’s the only way for them to hold onto the cord. You can just flatten the end few coils, but the more you flatten the more secure the hold will be.
This is what I’ve looking for! thank you! I wonder if i could make a mold from a barbie boots and make it into keychains. i’m worried that the hole in the boots would be quite difficult to make a cast.
I don't know that polymer clay would be the best material for a shape like that. The deep hole would be problematic. Or you could try making a mold with pourable silicone, then use a pourable materials to make a cast.
@@SandyHuntress thank you so much for your insight! I was debating on silicone molds and resin. but I heard resin is toxic? I might make the holes of the boots a little shallow and maybe stick a peg in it and also use a peg in the cast while I mold the boots. does that make sense?

Instead of mixing the powder in the clay, have you thought of brushing then on your clay? Especially matching the color of the powder to the color of the glow in the dark clay? You may get a different result.

My cellphone screen keeps falling off. I am going to use E-6000 to glue it back on. your video was an awesome video. I will use the toothpick like you and paper, so I do not goop to much on my frame and back of the screen.👍

you could have taken off the bracelet after you tied the first knot to try it on and make adjustments

How about using a folded piece of paper or a folded index card to help you guide the two separate pieces back together?
@@oaktree1628 Hmmm, I can't quite picture how that would work.
@@SandyHuntress fold an index card, then open it up until it forms a “V”, then put the tip of the nozzle inside the “V”, then guide the needle cap into the nozzle in the “V”
