Is the pack sitting/resting on the cargo shelf as well? How does the pack hold up with the ALICE frame attached to it?

There is no cargo shelf on this Alice frame. The pack itself has tension straps that I have used to secure it to the Alice frame. It sits comfortably during use. Thanks Armory58
