    How to calculate sheet size and thickness drop with height

      Generally speaking, to calculate the size of a sheet, one must measure the length, width, and height of the product. For some special structures, more material is required to meet the molding requirements. The specific dimensions of the sheet should be calculated based on the actual product size and structure. As for the thickness, the thickness of the sheet reduces as it stretches over the mold during forming. This depends on several factors: 1. Material characteristics, as different materials have different stretching properties, even under the same conditions; 2. The thicker parts of the product typically show more noticeable thinning and will have some differences in thickness compared to the edges; 3. The degree of thickness of the sheet directly determines the thickness of the product after molding, so we usually use a slightly thicker sheet to meet the thickness requirements of the molding. Overall, the actual calculation of sheet thickness and the estimation of product thickness should be determined based on the actual size and structure of the product.

      If l*b*h is 800x650x350 mm what sheet size you suggest for HDPE/PP material.What drop will be for 350 mm height in HDPE/PP as finished product should be 4 mm thickness

      Thank you! First of all, there will be equipment on the machine that can clamp the sheet. When the mold is heated, there will be a certain distance from the sheet. Also, our operators are experienced and have a relatively suitable heating temperature for different materials or thicknesses. Finally, we will make samples before production to ensure that the production is correct.

During vacuum forming, the heat is first softened, and then hot air is blown from below to bulge the sheet so that the formed product can be obtained more uniform size. After the vacuum forming is completed, the cooling system above will emit cold air to help the molded product to be shaped faster and more stably.

      Firstly, we need charge the 3d drawing if you don't have the drawing, then the mold cost and samples cost. after confirmed the samples, then will need massive production cost.

      because this product is quite deep draw, so we use bluge process, it is used in some products with more than one side or right-angle side or products with a small draft angle, its purpose is to reduce the shrinking marks caused by the violent shrinkage of the material, or to solve the problem of the thickness deviation of the product at different positions due to the stacking of the material, the thickness can be more uniform.
