What is the name of that font? Thanks
Beautiful box are there any plans to make it mate please ❤
Thanks, no sir it was a one of one box I made.
Very cool 👍...why do you use steelwool to aply the wax??? I never seen that done? 👍
It's acts as a micro abrasive with the wax. It's 0000 steel wool so it is very fine.
très bon travail pouvez vous m'envoyer une copie du plan merci d'avance Alain
The Australian army have the rising star badge on their uniform. If they are wearing their slouch hats, they have the badge on the side that's turned up. When I saw the finished product, I immediately thought of our boys n girls in the Aussie army. 😍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
Weii done sir 🤙
Thanks!!
Awesome.
Thanks!!
Incredibly beautiful. May I ask what font you used for this?
I don't actually know, I found the names in the font they are in online, and just blew them up to the size I was wanting.
where did you get the lettering
I found the font I liked on the internet and adjusted the size in paint on my PC.
the way you rounded out each stave ? was that with the orbital sander as you went along or did you have a mental picture on how it should look .what a unique method rather than just butting up each stave EXCELLENT
Yes I sanded as I went fitting each piece as I thought I wanted it. I've done some intarsia work over the years and treated it the exact same way just on a larger scale.
Awesome job
You could just use carbon paper and trace your design on your wood. That's how I do mine and it's super easy.
Hi, I'm sorry you didn't find the time to talk to us about a possible collaboration. I hope this will be possible in the future. I wish you a wonderful day. Kind regards, Florencia The Epoch Times

Great first saw
turned out awesome
Thanks for sharing your project. I always made letters that stand proud of the backing. You made the letters out of the "holes". Very interesting. I will try that next time.
what size boards did you use?
The overall size of the piece is 5' x 2'
@@2HME So those were probably (2) 8ft 1×12s?
@@joshbrown5073 Yes, if I remember correctly that's right.
Very nice job 👍🏻 thanks for sharing.
Cool! 😊
EXELENTE TRABALHO...
muchas gracias
what angle was your table set at to make the cuts?
Beautiful!
My first thought, “😮 that’s cheating!” My next thought, “😏 I like it!”
This is absolutely AMAZING! So beautiful!
Wow! Some people are just so talented! Good job 👏
Genial trabajo. Que pegamento usas?
Do you have a pattern for this. The man at seafox passed away he no longer has the web sight.
Yes send me an email to deckerlriley@yahoo.com and I'll send it to you.
Flawless..great work
Far from flawless, but thank you for the kind words!!
Do you have plans for this piece of art?
No sir, I designed it as I made it.
Beautiful, anyone would love to show it off in their home. Keep creating. You have been blessed.
Thank you for the kind words
What a waste of time!
Lol I guess you should be glad it’s my time and not yours 🤔
😂😂🤣🤣 I'm just kidding man, it's a piece of art that looks amazing. Nice work!
Your first remark was not a joke. You like to hurt people through sarcasm.
@@juliherron8991 😂😂🤣🤣
Parting tool maybe
I have a parting tool, this being a large lamp I chose to do it this way.
Sorby sells a fantastic thin parting tool. I use it ALL the time.
I have a parting tool, but this is how I chose to do this particular project…
outstanding! I love it!
Thank You!!
what product do you use on wood?
For the burning, I use a couple of tablespoons of baking soda to a cup of warm water and mix to dissolve.

Beautiful work. I'm beginning to realize that, although there is a lot of work in a project like this, the main portion of the work is in the finish. I assume that is an oil finish.
Thank you, I used Lacquer for the finish here and for the majority of projects I do.

@@2HME I'll find it. Very nice box and love the bow by the way
@@corliabekker6201 thank you very much!!
We’re did you get the pattern Thanks
This is a actually a stained glass pattern I got of the internet. Google "stained glass patterns" and you should be able to find it.
You need more difference in thickness between the tree and background pieces .
What font did you use for "Slade"?
Honestly I don't remember, I googled the name and found something I liked.
Sir what are the specifications for the scroll saw?
I have a Dewalt 20" scroll saw. The model # is DW788
Very cool!
Thanks!!
Genial, te felicito....
What you doin with MY PLANER. I know it's mine because it has my NAME on it. Looks like it's pretty HOT there. I'm in TEXAS. I'm seeing this on 10-19-2022.
