Curmudgeon’s RULE!
Canam
I heard that so much about it!! I was hoping to join one time but I heard it was just one year and that’s….
I think the Fargos would make a good series or movie.
Quiten la música, solo el motor!!
Most annoying music 😡
Yes, video inclusion of the Chevrolet small block would be more Proper ☆ 🏁gF NM/FL☮️
I know this car, chassis SDW439, very well and have driven it many times. Unfortunately, long ago the engine was swapped out for a GM unit, and the suspension, particular the lever arm dampers and kingpins, were not properly addressed. Although right hand drive, the car was built to US specification. Mr Wyler specified right hand drive because he was deaf in his left ear.
MG says - “your car, Chassis number TD/C20686, an EXLNA ( EXport; Left hand drive; North America) specification, with original factory fitted engine XPAG/TD3/20483 is confirmed in our Factory Production records as built at Abingdon on - October 8 1952. It would have been shipped to USA following that date, but would probably have arrived at its ultimate initial dealership sales location in USA late in 1952, and been subsequently sold and initially registered in early 1953; and hence would be described as a 1953 model”
From MG - in England - Chassis number TD/C20686, an EXLNA ( EXport; Left hand drive; North America) specification, with original factory fitted engine XPAG/TD3/20483 is confirmed in our Factory Production records as built at Abingdon on - October 8 1952. It would have been shipped to USA following that date, but would probably have arrived at its ultimate initial dealership sales location in USA late in 1952, and been subsequently sold and initially registered in early 1953; and hence would be described as a 1953 model.
Well known in MG world is a car built in 52 gets to the US in time to be registered as a 53. This car has been verified as to its provenance.
Google 2002 tBird skirts - a few places have them
You’re entitled to your opinion but this car in its entirety has had its provenance proven and acknowledged by MG. Why would you say all this nasty BS anyway?
Shabby and not likely a 53. Also , Genuine TD MK II, no proof. Bubble in right hood panel, check. Dual SUs ( which anyone could instal), Check Andrex Shocks, unknown. Factory tricked pout motor, unknown. Brass tag cleverly damaged to hide the TD C if a true MK II. Paint job, hideous.
Does not appear to be a 1953 unless the rear fenders were swapped out for 52 or earlier. Could be a 52 first registered in 53. Andrex shocks ? Higher compression.? Cyl head work. MK II plate ? Proper brass plate with MG TD C ? My first car was a 1953 MG TD MK II purchased in 1964 for the princely sum of $400. All original. Interesting car.
HI LOVE THOSE SKIRT CAN I ASK WHERE DO YOU BUY THESE MIKE
Nice carrucha
My friend owns one of these beautiful litle cars, was plagued with electrical issues but new harness cured all, now is a great driver in British racing green
Another car video spoiled by overbearing music. Most car buffs would rather hear the sound of the car.
I’m hard of hearing and I can hear the cars motor clearly. Check your speakers.
You have break light out!
The green monster out to get you😮
OUTSTANDING!
my eyes are bleeding...
I read these books like binge watching a TV series. i have 4 more books to read and then ive read the whole series! I wish someone would make this into a tv series
Just got the newest book, Fire Strike. - But to be honest, these guys here are not looking like the corporation crew we know from the books.
Juan, especially...I think Aaron Echardt would be great for Cabrillo....
He did a quick drawing of me and my girlfriend on the inside cover of his book that i bought at Queen Mary and I would talk with him at shows. Always very kind. RIP
Dump the stupid music.... Please..
Hopefully, before I die, someone will make The Oregon Files into a movie/series. Your trailer is spot on!
i love the bonneville black side emblem .. where did you get that done? i also have a 63 bonneville that i would like to do that to...
We did it in house - painted it.
if only we could hear the engine! lol
There are a few spots where the engine is very loud on the tracks. I see what you mean though
magnifique !!
I miss the Pizz a lot and I’m glad I found this video
Thanks, enjoyed that. Much appreciated
Thanks for sharing, appreciated
superb job. It's easy to see how much thought has gone into this. Rear end in particular is so well done. Congratulations! PS - yes, we own an 1800ES
IS there any way I can get permission to use this in a history doc I am doing?
Wrong engine
Cool Car, horrible video
I saw this on Craigslist , is this bike still for sale?
I think the Oregon series would’ve made blockbuster movies but unfortunately cussler except for Sahara didn’t want his books made into movies
He is dead now, so maybe it will change soon.
Awesome video! Thank you!
