Thank you for your question. Actually it is a very nice tool to help patients confirm visually what they tried on with implant sizers. Of course it's not intended to be a gaurantee of the final results but patients have found it to be very helpful! I also use it to help with volume estimates in breast revisions in patients with existing implants and breast reduction and reconstruction procedures

how accurate is this software compared to actual results post op and thereafter?

Dr.Kayser, I had smart lipo done to my inner and outer thighs about three yeas ago. My legs now look much like the women's in this video, lumpy and bumpy. If possible would you suggest a surgeon in California ( Los Angeles area) that has experience correcting botched surgery. Thank You -JP

The price actually varies depending on the amount of fat that needs to be transferred and the extent of the procedure that will be required to achieve a patient's desired result. compared to an implant, the cost is more expensive in the short run however, patients also receive liposuction and do not need to pay for the cost of the actual implant itself. Finally, in the long run it is probably much less expensive since an implant device will very likely have to be removed or replaced at some point during a patient's life.
