What a great question! I've made a series about how I made my most recent book of shadows, and I use the exact same process for my grimoire :) Its a 4 part series so you could definitely follow along and make your own as well! Good luck!

Cicely Mary Barker is the name of the fairy artist! I absolutely love her work, and Im jealous of your fairy pencil case XD Also I plan to still make both videos, just focus more on the Grimoire content right now :) I think I can still do a flip through of my monthly setup even if I don't time lapse and show the whole process! No I don't! I sure wish I did! They were thrifted and I looked all over the stamps to try to find a logo and there weren't any! I hope youll be able to find some somewhere someday!

My collage process takes a long time too. I get lost in the process, especially looking for just the right things to cut out and add.

Oh my gosh I feel like its an amazing way to get in the flow! Taking time to contemplate and experiment! It makes the whole process much more intentional!

@pennyrowe9705 it's on north foothills drive! They put up a sign now so you should be able to see it driving by lol. At first when I went there I thought I had the wrong address since it looked so plain. I'm sure they will have another lovely mural painted eventually :)

Ive gotten my stamps from all over! The wooden ones Ive either carved, or thrifted. The silicone ones I have gotten from assorted online retailers, mainly amazon and temu etc. I figure if its a one time investment, and Ill use them all the time, its worth getting them from wherever you can! I just try to be careful to get ones that I know I will use a whole lot! Thanks for the great question! I should talk about that in a video sometime!

You may be able to just use colored hot glue and glue directly onto your fabric! I've never tried it before, but it may be worth a shot!

My best advice is to get notebooks you don’t care for. There’s like a ten pack of Kraft notebooks on Amazon that are very cheap, thin (like 60 pages), easily transportable, and just very easy to not care about lol. I find that I’ve done my best writing and grimoire notes in that kind of notebook because it’s not about “keeping it pretty,” it was never pretty to begin with.

It can be super daunting, thats a huge part of why I gravitated to the junk journal style. Since I made it myself, I know its something I would be able to make again. And I also feel less precious about it because its made from literal junk! I wish you luck and I hope you dive in. Its better to have ugly notes than no notes at all, That way you can see your progress as well :)

I concur! I could never work in a beautiful tooled leather, parchment filled book for that exact reason. The empty pages were too beautiful to begin with! A lot of my pages I need to cover up scribbled notes, or advertising for junk mail!
