Take a ride in my Peugeot 605 Sli of 1996 in the Dutch countryside iwith 310500 kilometers on the clock..I own it since june 2013. It's my 'wintervictim' that I use to drive from december till half of April. I use this car in the wintertime, the rest of the year I use my Talbot Solara of 1981 and Talbot Tagora of 1981. Also I still own a original Dutch delivered Peugeot 505 Gti of 1985 that I own since september 2004. Neem een ritje in mijn Peugeot 605 Sli met 310500 kilometers op the klok. Hij is oud en bedaagd en heeft wel wat gebruikssporen, maar rijdt ontzettend lekker. Heb deze auto in bezit sinds juni 2013. Het is mijn 'winterslachtoffer' die ik van begin december tot gemiddeld half april rijd. Naast mijn Talbot Solara van 1981 en Talbot Tagora van 1982. Daarnaast heb ik nog een 505 Gti van 1985 in bezit sinds september 2004.

I almost never saw a Chrysler 180 over here. I am 38 years old now, I think I almost never saw a Tagora myself back in the days. I reckon I saw the first one somewhere in 2002. Solara I can remember same as the Horizon.

Was this car in North America in 2003? I knew of a LHD 104, with a speedo in KPH. It was silver over dark blue with blue seats, re-covered in vinyl. I'm just wondering if it is the same car.
It must. There's only 1 LHS produced ever in the world. But back in 2003 the car wasn't yet the property of my uncle. Must have been the owner before my uncle then!

The Tagora was never popular but I like it.
I owned an 84 505 GL for 25 years. 2.0L 5 speed. Very nice car. Enjoyable to drive. I learned to maintain it myself. Kept it in good condition by cutting maintenance intervals in half. Ran like new at over 259K miles. I was surprised by how long many of the OEM parts lasted. Most of its problems involved US emissions equipment, which was not well documented by Peugeot.
Why can't you close the bloody window so we can hear the engine sound, the wind noise is terribly frustrating and it's the same in all your vids
Don't moan mate, you have 2 video's uploaded yourself of only 40 seconds. 2 Video's! Also, it's not always the window, sometimes it is the roof as well. However, buy one yourself if you want to discover it, or... if you find the noise frustrating, don't look to my uploads. Have a nice evening, regards from the Netherlands.

Je sais, mais la Solara et la Tagora sont tres ancienne et plus sensitive de la rouille, malheureusement. Et la 505 aussi est 35 ans deja. La 605 'seulement' 24 ans.

Yes,I still have it, it is partly ready from restauration, hope I can drive again at the end of this summer. Now it has got 334000 kilometers, but the big problem is the rust.

my uncle has a brand new Tagora 2.2 with only 13 miles on the clock, he was partner in a Talbot Peugeot franchise that went bust in the early 80`s and some of the inventory `found it`s way` into his barn . He also has a samba which was only used as a demonstrator. I joke that when he dies I will put these cars on ebay :-O
Is it for sale? I really want it as I have a Murena 2.2 and it would make a perfect pair. This is a serious request and would even consider swapping it for a Blue Renault Aventime in almost perfect condition. However cash is not a problem and would prefer that. Thank you.

Ja, is wel betrouwbaar , naar alle waarschijnlijkheid een ZF bak (3 versnellingen) . Heb eenzelfde ZF 3 bak in mijn Peugeot 505 Gti, als je regelmatig de olie ververst , niets aan de hand. Draait wel veel toeren!!! 3750 toeren bij 120 km/h.
is inderdaad die ZF bak. staat er nu 1 bij de oosterburen te koop, speciaal gevalletje
Met airco toch? 5700 Euro is een sloot geld hoor! Hij is behalve hier en daar enkele plekjes nog wel mooi en goed denk ik.
ja ik vind t ook n hoop poen maar waar ik woon heb je die airco eigenlijk gewoon nodig, daarom heb ik m op t oog. Hij heeft m overigens op n andere site voor minder aangeboden. geen idee waarom.
om de hoeveel tijd/km moet de carburateur afgesteld? zijn er nog werkboeken, t best zou zijn in t engels, in omloop?
Dat is een beetje op het gehoor / gevoel. Als hij slechter begint te lopen (is een solex carburateur) dan ga je vanzelf de afstelling regelen. Ik heb inderdaad 2 werkplaatshandboeken (Talbot Tagora I en II) in bezit voor deze auto.

I had a 1982 Tagora 2.2 GL years ago. The worst car I've had in 45 years of driving. I had to scrap it when nobody would buy it, even at a give-away price, and dealers refused to take it as a trade-in. The perfect example of an utter lemon.
