Yes. hearing clearly. Hello from Bangladesh This is Rumana Binte Masud Adjunct Faculty

Why was the Palestinian speaker not shown?
I, finally, returned after 3 months to find no one else has looked at this video still ... I suppose it is not a total surprise and hopefully in the real world there is more attention to the specific issues brought up at this meeting. I have fond the UN as a whole is still struggling ... in many ways on many levels. I am not involved nor informed enough to know for certain ... but hopefully those who are are seeing that at this time there is much attention and effort required .... and some of that may require new leadership and new ideas. Love & Peace to All
Oh My. Sad to hear only of some of the challenges without being able to hear any possible solutions aka =ways forward. It was very interesting knowing now what has occurred with Syria in the conflict it is now. This is so sad ... that Our UN has been not only been so ineffective but it seems actually harmful in some cases. It feels as if UN has allowed themselves to become "spread too thin" and they have strayed from their purpose and goal. Some ONE needs to step up to the challenge of making changes. Yes, talking and understanding exactly what the problems are and being able to explore solutions are required BUT ... 71 years ... It is time to Make changes .. NOW. Someone has to be found who understands the need to stop talking at some point to take the bull by the horns ... I have to go and become educated about the UN more now. Love & Peace to All
Thank You ... each and everyone of you who are making the effort toward Peace. I have only watched V. Farr at this point but was so impressed by her passion as she relayed sad news about the way the UN is (was ... this is a year old) acting at that time. Women need to stand up and remember they do not need permission to do what they are required to do. Women are going to have to help each other, when necessary, to be seen and heard as required. Women do need to be careful in their manner of shown respect toward All ... and especially some men who still believe women should not be involved in this discussion. I look forward to hearing the rest of this talk but will have to come back at another time. This type of discussion needs to make it's way into many households across the world ... We all need to start waking up to news on Peace progress OR lack of it on a daily basis ... as long as there are wars we need to do what is required to end them. Love & Peace to All
reality check....there not giving up there's so we will not give up are nucs ... mad and it works
anyone notice that this turned into feminism? from stopping men from being killed in war, to stopping them completely bc they feel like they dont get treated properly. Blame the fuckbois
This has gave me a whole no love idea goal for life..
nous voulons la paix et la securite attend que femme.
la Paix est la securite de la femme est tres importante la femme est devenu aujourd'hui comme un instrument de pleusir, de vangeance pour resoudre leurs conflis
What a joke
Very compelling. Share it far and wide
Thank you for sharing your perspective on this. What do you need from the international community right now?
The machining of people by traditionally organizing them, soft to hard brainwashing, organizing people like files, has diminished the effectiveness of all struggles for advancing humanity, uplifting civilization, actually, and decreased activism/advocacy, over time; whereas the evolution's unizing orgas, instead, deprogramming, reintroducing curiosity to lifelong learning and growth, re-naturing, uplifting, consciousness raising, has made unparalleled strides against 'la machine'. We must stop the future nuclear holocaust, now! Because history has taught us, if the struggle to know where we were, and only thereby, know where we are, in order to have the possibility of choosing how we will change, where we will go, isn't individual, somatic, familial, communal, municipal, regional, national, international, we will neither deserve our freedoms, nor get to keep them, Thomas Paine, "give me liberty or give me death", with Malcolm's update, "the price of freedom is death", informs that; for too long democrats in name only have been running the dem party into the ground with sausage-making with the republicans, legitimizing all their criminal insanity, going along to get a long, selling out- we don't want butchers to be politicians, "...we(e)...", want leaders- the leader within you! There's no 'clean' coal, oil, or nuclear waste, no fracking way; close Indian Point (future nuclear national disaster) nuclear power plant, now! "...We(e)...", refused their golden silence, and struggling with those taking theirs all the way to the bank, we resisted their cons, legitimizing the republicans extremism, every moment treason against all life, art, science, religion, etc.; we must not allow the Evolution's gains over the last half a century to just be divided up between mercenaries(x) for war and mercenaries for war- from merx for more, through to mercs for war! reality

We loved hearing the stories of our members and peacemakers from around the world. Please share your stories and history with us here so we can keep the conversation going!
A most helpful analysis and discussion. Something I would like all of our members to see and so understand WILPF's way of being in the world now. And also to clarify why certain organisations are easier for us to work with than others.
Thanks to Catia, and to the team that made possible to keep this webinar lectura online. Very interesting. Catia your contribution to all of us to better understand our history and methods is very important and much appreciated.
This was great! Thank you.
security awareness is very important right now..
gender-marxist pacifist creeps
While I agree with the message about security, I do not agree with the notion that "holding the govts accountable" will achieve anything. The system is not meant to be changed but to perpetuate. Govts don't care what you think or want. They just want to stay in control and in power. The system is corrupt from the core and the only way change will come is by remove and completely replacing it from the ground up. I invite you to check out The Venus Project for more info.
Its very unfortunate that a baby's feeding bottle is used as the symbol for child care, as a result I won't be giving this to the Community Development lecturers at the University of Timor Loro Sa;e as it could too easily be read as an endorsement for the dangerous feeding bottles which are responsible for many deaths in poor countries. A pity, as the basic argument is a good one, Sadly people working on Peace, Human Rights and Development are going off in different directions. Helen Hill
