    I was a heroin addict from 1990 on. I remember my first bag of fentanyl. My dealer gave me a bag of white powder and I thought he made a mistake and gave me cocaine. When I did it my whole body had pins and needles. I loved it. Shortly after that I stopped using. You know how from early elementary school until adulthood you pretty much have your great friends and then people that you know. I am one of 11 people. They are all dead. I am still here. I don't use everyday. When I do I sniff it. That doesn't make it any better but I will never use a needle ever again. Again I'm not minimizing it. I'm just telling you what is. I don't need it but I do it every once in awhile. I also know when you do it once in a while your chances of overdosing are much higher. That is why I go very slow and do very little. The last time I did it was 15 days ago. This is the longest I've gone in a long time and I think I'm going to continue because I don't want to be a statistic. All my friends are gone and I have a daughter so I don't want her to have a father that died of an overdose. God bless sick and suffering drug addicts. God bless the families that have lost people. God have mercy on the souls of the people that have passed on. This is a whole new animal. It's very difficult to get off. I believe a lot of the difficulty to get off comes with the cut. The propofol the xyloxine and the fact that fentanyl is one of the strongest opiates on the planet. It is torture. When I had a habit it took a long time to feel normal when I stopped. It made heroin look like a cakewalk. Now that I don't ever have it like I said I do it once in awhile and that's ending now

    Yep , dealers know that floods of humans will always gush in to get more drug even tho most die from it. Scads of people would rather die than deal with the shyst sandwich served to them by their wonderful political elected officers.

    Coming off fentanyl is the same as withdrawal from any other opioid. It's all awful.

  • @GazB85
    @GazB85 Před 2 dny

    It's not that fentanyl causes an as you say an "intense euphoric high that makes other's seem basic", it doesn't. Fentanyl and it's analogues are crap compared to the euphoria of morphine/Heroin, oxycodone and other opioids. It's not that euphoric to be honest, it's very sedative, a lot more potent than other opioids and generally has replaced heroin/diamorphine on the black market. So user's not only have no choice to use other weaker and safer opioids because they're not as available but also because they hae a short half-life and because of tolerance too they can't. If user's had the choice between pharmaceutical grade heroin/diamorphine or fentanyl, the vast majority would choose the heroin because it's a far more euphoric warm high and lasts longer. Relegalise, regulate, tax and educate!

    In my opinion , when we switch or me specifically, it doesn't feel like anything. It's just one moment we acting like on person and the next like a different person. Sometimes we don't even realize when we switch. Sometime I even forget I have this disorder because I just switch so smoothly.

    Dopamine Detox: Fact or Fiction? Short answer: There's no concrete scientific evidence to support the concept of a "dopamine detox". Here's a breakdown of why: Misunderstanding of dopamine: Dopamine is a neurotransmitter essential for various brain functions, not a toxin to be eliminated. It's continuously produced by the brain, regardless of activities. Lack of scientific research: No rigorous studies have been conducted to prove the effectiveness of dopamine detox in improving mental health or well-being. Potential for harm: Abruptly cutting off pleasurable activities can lead to increased stress, anxiety, and even withdrawal symptoms. What might be beneficial, however, is a temporary reduction in stimulating activities. This can help you: Identify unhealthy patterns: By taking a break from constant stimulation, you might recognize how much time you spend on certain activities. Improve focus and attention: Reducing distractions can enhance your ability to concentrate on tasks. Prioritize other activities: You might discover new hobbies or spend more quality time with loved ones. Remember: It's essential to approach any lifestyle change with caution and moderation. If you're struggling with addiction or mental health issues, seeking professional help is crucial.

    This guy has no idea what he is talking about. I'll take a heroin high over a fetty one any day n it is cheaper n can be made that is why u can't find heroin in a lot of places anymore. His logic makes no sense. U would lose all the coke n meth addicts immediately to overdoses n that isn't the high they want so no one would come bk n as far as the opiate users go they coming bk regardless n tolerance happens anyway but the withdrawals have the same symptoms for either. If u haven't been through or lived in it, don't speak on it!!

    “Addiction is the loss of choice” One of the most counterproductive things to an addict’s recovery that they can do is to blame external reasons for their addiction Recovery begins with using the right language. You didn’t lose choice, you gave it up

    Fentanyl has a very short life, which means you have to take more and more to keep high. This means high profits. Also, Fentanyl withdrawal (day 2) always made me go into Dry Heaving. That will make you seek relief cause you think you will die. Especially if you are older!
