Hello my friend I use brake parts cleaner to clean it and it works quite fast then I use dish soap after to make sure it's completely clean before applying a permanent tire coating.

Hey Mike, I own the twin sister to this car (black on black 1990 S4) and my paint was in about the same condition. After several sessions and many hours with a rubbing compound and polish I got it to a place that was decent. Last year I finally had a full color correction done and it turned out amazing. The Porsche paint at that time was a one stage paint so it can get a little thin if you really have to go at it. I have been told that linseed oil works great on the rubber spoiler but I have not tried it myself. In the next video can you show the interior and engine compartment? Would love to know how many miles are on it as well. This is also one of only 450 cars brought to the US that year so your in rare company! I’m looking forward to the final results.
Hi, thanx for the info. According to the paint thickness gauge I have plenty of paint to work with. yes, linseed oil etc. will work,, but a very temporary fix. I have several different products on hand to try. will do a test spot in an inconspicuous spot. I will show the mileage etc. and probably crank it in a future vid. My customer has had it in a garage for 20 years I think he said. Believe it or not, damp sanding can be less agressive than trying to do all the correction with a buffer.

Two words,. Timeless beauty. 🥰. I have always loved the Dodge Viper. Nothing like it anywhere and to think Chryco made it. Don't own one in real life, but have built models of it and of course have numerous versions of it in the Gran Turismo video games.😂
He was careful not to hit your mailbox and he certainly took that stop sign seriously. This is one of the very few videos I've seen of a driver successfully managing to drive a Viper in a straight line on a dry road without totalling it.. Good job!

its the wheels, they came with gold wheels. this one has the 99-2002 wheel. the viper came with an 8.0 V-10
you are correct sir, owner didn't like the ori wheels.. he has them (w tires) he simply liked these better :)

it's coming back tomorrow so I can coat the hood. Held off on the hood so he could have some pinstriping done and a new decal. He also owns a yellow one. & a 59 Vette alll ori. lol. He owns a bunch of classics. He buys & sells some. some he keeps :)

I had a new 87 iroc and a new 88 iroc and I believe that color strip is factory over the black paint 🎨. I'm 99%positive about it.

it was a difficult project but fun. parts of the vehicle had been resprayed etc. :) This guy owns several Old Camaro's . the yellow one I did previous to this one he also owns.
