Thank you Candice for spitting facts about the dark skinned Black woman condition 👏🏿 You are both so beautiful and inspiring! Keep it up ✊🏿♥️
Gina you are beautiful inside out and super funny 🥰 There’s a film called “Farming” about private adoptions - based on a true story. Great conversation, as always! 👏🏿♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for your vulnerability ladies👏🏿♥️
Girls won't be boys...
Did this even happen? My gut detecting lies.
CCCA is 100% reversible!
💯
I bet there isn't a dark skinned black girl in the UK, can't speak for other countries, who hasn't been told this, or heard this or was made to feel less than because of our hue. And yes by big hard back men, and women. Well I say and live by the blacker the berry...........❤
I had simliar things shouted at me out in public a lot by black males much older than me during my teenage years whilst adoring my Asian friend. I was often publically humiliated. Yet hese types of men love to openly lavish praise on others. Black men are the biggest detriment to the black race and break down or lack there of, of black family structures. The way they dog out, abandon and live off black women but will take up and look after the lowest tier of any other race they can get their hands on is twisted. They are often the cause of black females experiencing lowered self esteem which affects how they see themselves, show up in life and within professional settings. I have never seen any other race of man take such pride in breeding out his own race or protect and place another race on a pedastal above the image of the woman that brought him into this world. The gag is that most of these mixed race offspring will adore the features furthest away from their black side, as they come to realise that this gains them priveledge amongst the rulling Euro race and in some cases play down their blackness unless it offers them gain. The females often come to look down upon or show contepmt towards black females as they quickly realise that they are preffered and protected by black males from their father's down to the black males who lavish complements and vy for their attention. Ive rarely come across a mixed race person who didn't slip and show traces of this. Even my apparently woke cousin showed suprise on one occasion when a black man appproached me rather than her (apparently it was a given in back of her mind that she was the preffered). The shift from the 'norm' visably perplexed her. Go to South Africa and you will hear coloureds deny or get offended if you try to ascertain the black part of their ancestry (as you can clearly see it in them). Yet play up and proudly state other parts of their genetational mix. I also had a convo with a coloured girl dating a black guy whose parents were highly successful multi millionaires yet she had to lie about the nature of their relationship as her family would not have accepted it or wanted her baring black presenting children. She ironically was from very, very humble beginnings yet was seen as a prize to him. A white man however was considered a prize. And this is what happens a few generations down from mixing. They will deny or downplay your ass in the family tree if blackness is not condusive to their environment , or access to privilege and resources.
Very well said. 💯
And black men wonder why so many black women resent them! My bullies in Primary school were all black boys. Its atrocious.
LOVED this💖💖💖
PHENOMENAL
oh bullchit!!!😂😂
That's because talking about black women makes alot of money online 😂
How did he grow up trans, he just started dressing like a female recently, if anything he grew up highly effeminate and he was gay.
this is suuch a good episode i can't stress this enough
So ignoring the gender stuff (which I find a bit crap tbh, making things way too complicated than it actually is. I'm not a "cis" man, I'm just a man), this guy was not being so forthcoming about the reality of dating as a feminine presenting (or "gender nonconforming", whatever you want to call it) gay man. It's pretty clear that what he was meaning to say towards the middle half when he kept saying that his ideal relationship was "unrealistic", I'm more than sure he means that he wants to have a heteronormative type relationship. He wants to be the feminine one in the relationship while his love interest is a masculine man and the reason why he believes it's "unrealistic" is because in the gay dating world, the majority of gay men are not attracted to feminine men, especially feminine men who are feminine presenting in appearance. I have no doubt in my mind that at his age, he has come across bisexual men who have found him attractive but they only wanted him for sex and never anything more than that which further plays into why he believes his ideal relationship is unrealistic. Because you can't have a relationship with a closeted man who will never value you as a person as whole. I'm a feminine presenting gay man myself and I see the writing on the wall with this guy and more importantly, the smokescreen he was presenting when talking about that aspect of the conversation. It's an uncomfortable and even depressing one to face the reality of but it is what it is.
I hope you find someone that loves you for more than what you look like
So good 😊
I could listen to Candice all day everyday! Such a great chat - thank you
I love hearing her talk. So much transparency and realness. I felt like she was reading my mail. Furthermore just like her I am too the Black Sheep of the “family” and “community”. On another note I felt her when she said we need a tsunami to wipe us put. Sigh, but it should be a tsunami for colorist Black men.
Really great interview. Love hearing from Candice.
OBSESSED with this channel!
This is the content I've needed my whole life I'm a british south Asian trans girl and I've never seen this kind of representation and conversation even on youtube Being south Asian and trans in britain is it's own special kind of hell The solidarity and understanding displayed here is revolutionary Thank u for platforming such a beautiful woman and for building towards the community and culture we all deserve Big love
I am a dark skinned black women and when you said what that man said to you as a child my insides turned upside down and tears came to my eyes as if I were a child again. I know the pain if growing up and being ridiculed because of my skin tone. I am over it now because I love the skin I am in.
OMG i need more
Excellent discussion!❤
I’m so so glad I found this podcast Here thanks to Themis and Thoth. Nice to hear femme and queer and nonbinary from OUTSIDE the states.
THAT'S A PICKMEISHA THAT'S HAPPY SHE GOT PICKED. DATING BM👨🏿👨🏿👨🏿 IS NOO WAY EASIER THAN DATING 🙍🙍🙍. BW💁🏿♀️💁🏿♀️💁🏿♀️ LIKE HER ARE SO DELUSIONAL, EVEN HAS THE EXPLAIN THE HELL 🔥 SHE WENT THROUGH AT THE HANDS OF 👨🏿👨🏿👨🏿, SHE IS STILL DUMB & BRAINWASHED TO SAY ITS EASIER TO DATE 👨🏿👨🏿👨🏿.
I saw clips of this on Instagram and im so happy i found the full thing ❤
Seriously bring the tsunami 🌊😭
So grateful you shared this story
I was reading something and it basically eluded to the fact that Black mothers favour their sons because its the first male to truly love them unconditionally, I was like bullshit but then when you let that digest you do have to agree Also I love CZcams for suggesting this conversation to me ❤
This some 3rd Reich shit she just said. I know as black people it is difficult to be “systematically” racist but it is not difficult for you to be RACIST! I can’t imagine what you would do if a white person said, “stay within your race don’t date whites”
did you watch the episode? she literally encourages black women to widen their dating pool and date outside of our race.
She can't be serious. We've been Told for years that black women don't need us. That black men ain't *hit. Pretty much called us every name in the book and outright told us that we're beneath them even though we aren't statically. But now this sista is on here saying how we're on the edge of our seats and how we don't stick up for a group of individuals that for the last 60 years have left us out to dry. Sisters have put this on themselves and now they're mad that black men aren't putting up with their nonsense anymore. In all reality BW are the only group of women that outright vocally say that they don't need their men? The problem is unruly and out ofline BW That don't respect black men yet still want all the perks and protection. You honestly can't make this stuff up.
Wonder if this commenter is from the US or UK?
@@Coco-uk9tv It doesn’t matter b/c Pearl Davis (justpearlythingz) was both in the Uk & US and she gained her 1 million followers BEFORE she entered Neo 🥸 era platforming Blk men to disrespect BLK WM & in the US the blk Manosphere leaders crowned her a ⚪️ woman the “King/Queen of the Blk Manosphere.”
This whole conversation ate DOWN, but the anecdote with the auntie took me OUTTTTTTT
I love love love the space being carved here
What a great conversation. I love Candice - so unapologetically her 🩷 beautiful and fun personality
Loved this
Great conversation by two stunning and intelligent women.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

24:10 hello !!! i love you
13:56 !!!
What a great conversation. Even as a white women I can relate to some of it, especially feeling invisible although of course I don’t want to compare my situation to those of black women
Not to invalidate your experience but there's no comparison, BW are marginalized in a specific way.
@@FreeBLKWoman Thats what I wanted to acknowledge! But it still felt good to hear that other women also sometimes feel that "jealous" feeling for not being catcalled bc it makes you think you are a horribile person
Brilliant.
Thank you for putting words on what I've been feeling for years 🙏🏻
I think she's talking about St Josephs and Norwood Girls, I know these schools all too well lol...
The self-hate in our community is real...
