There's a story Ramana Maharshi told about the man who used to fan him at the Ashram.
As he'd spent most of his life in Satsang, Ramana assured his students that the man would not return and was liberated from the cycle of birth and death.

Ramesh Balsekar was enlightened as a result of years of translating for Ramana's student Nisagadartta Maharaj.
