    The correct way is to check the batterie first. The batterie must be completely charged. If the batterie is ok, you check if the power cables are in good order and not corroded. If the cables are ok, you disconnect the fan on the electrical control unit. Then you connect "C" and "T" (which is bypassing the thermostat). If the compressor is still not running, your electrical unit is faulty and must be repaired (costs ca. 150.- Euro) or you have to buy a new one which must fit your compressor (costs ca. 450.- Euro).
