Hydration with electrolytes along with paying attention to my nutritional macros has significantly helped to reduce my migraines. I realized my migraines are mostly triggered by fatigue. It makes sense that the cells require homeostasis. I don't monitor my glucose, but I am sure that my glucose levels have a lot to do with it as well as chronic low potassium levels. I take sumatriptan (imitrex) and find that most effective with an NSAID. I noticed fresh ginger helps in the short term in a low quantity. Ever since I have closely monitored my diet and paid attention to fatigue, I have significantly reduced migraines. I am a 39-y-o male, so I'm sure that won't work for everyone like me.

This is a very helpful presentation. I do notice that I have trouble recalling words or names when I have a migraine. Stress was also a big trigger, moreso before I started regular exercise. Low quality audio or video also triggered it a lot for me.

So glad you are promoting awareness about bone health - even the WHI showed MASSIVE reduction in osteoporosis with HRT, yet that is never mentioned, it's always just about breast cancer. I am totally with you about getting a DEXA at menopause, not waiting until a fracture has occurred.

regular exercise helped me to reduce stress which was a big trigger. That's when I noticed that running in the morning or having a long (90 minute leg day) session in the morning triggered migraine without fail. I realized my metabolism crashed soon after unless I had food with carbs around those sessions. I also take caffeine after my workout around 9-10 AM. That's usually all I need.

Hi I feel comfortable with food medicine but I don’t like medicine for doctors because they cause healthy problems, and I would like it’s give the patients wright away medicine give him remedies naturally foods that goad creates because where medicine comes from is naturally foods, and Plants that goad creates and they add chemicals that is truns into medicine? I believe medicine cure many diseases but they cause massive problems unless it’s nessary but it should not give wright away the patients instead of medicine nutural healthy foods, naturally remedies that nutrientist creates or natural foods that good creates. Can I say to my doctor this that is my opinion? I have essentiall tremors im young, I can’t use one hand to take a picture I’n my phone. I don’t want take shake medicine immediately? Thank you

Thank you Heather for talking "a lot!!" Many of us live in Medieval Ignorance! I was married to a wonderful Psychiatrist in the San Francisco Bay Area for 20 years, single for a fabulous 20 years near San Francisco and Rome, Italy, married in 2010 to a fantastic angel of a man. Wherever I lived, I asked Internists and Gyns about the pros and cons of HRT. In the late 80s, I co-taught a course "getting comfortable with talking to your patients about sex " at Univ of California San Francisco. I spent 4 years talking about SEX to all the professionals, friends, their former good lovers, with TV talk show hosts off air, on the radio, to anyone curious about the book I was writing on sexual dreams and relationships. FEW therapists ever talked frankly and specifically about sex with their patients. until I suggested the sorts of useful questions I had come across. I went Whole Foods Plant Based in 2012 thanks to Info on the net (NutritionFacts) and that keeps me very slim and never hungry. Why did no doc suggest that evidence-based option to me who had been hungry since I was 12? The only person who suggest HRT was a dream of an internist boyfriend who said in 1999, "You don't want to wait till you hit bottom with your Estrogen; perimenopause is the time to start!" While we remain friends to this day, I did not want to burden him asking for more advice after we split up. The docs I saw were not keeping up, and I quit my Combipatch thinking "The risk was not worth "IT." I was 62 and had NO IDEA how I had been benefiting for a decade, nor what was ahead for me with a condition (Menopause) that I had never heard was a PROGRESSIVE condition! I have mined the net and cobbled together a long "short list" of teaching videos on GSM for my friends and doctors. This is so important and so many of us remain clueless even when we regularly ask doctors for advice. Spread the word, even to those who say they have no symptoms. I lost 10 years years and I have aged overnight in so many ways while "gracefully accepting the inevitable." I have a remote appointment with Dr. Hirsch next week! I can't wait. Doing my journaling and working with Heather's new patient materials is surprisingly enlightening even though I have journaled and taught journaling to my dream study students for 50-years! I don't want to take any shortcuts.

There is something that is being used to treat covid. We have used it on two occasions and it did seem to lessen symptoms and shortened duration of COVID. It is also in official medical testing as a treatment. It is called ArtemiC Rescue and there is also an after treatment for Longcovid that is called ArtemiC Support. They have some videos on CZcams about it. The ArtemiC Support is also being used to support the immune system as a preventative measure.
