It seems, as usual in these things, that it depends who you are, if you are prepared to follow the ‘rules’ or debate them and THEN ignore them if suits. I’m not being disrespectful to anyone, it is just how life works.

Just had elbow surgery on my dominant side, so I suspect that I won’t get my normal strength back like before in my arm and hand. This feeling led me to purchase this glue press. I thought it had some mechanism in the handle that may assist the squeezing motion, but it doesn’t seem that way from your review. Now, even though I ordered one, I think I may return it and I haven’t even received it yet.

I was lucky...I watched many videos with different crafters who said to use tape on corners. Don't be tough on yourself...live and learn!

Try taking the needle out of the tip of your Art Glitter Glue bottle with a pair of pliers. I had the same problem with one of my glue tips and was able to get the needle out with the pliers...hope that helps!!

First, Stampin up is an MLM, and no one in 2024 should still be supporting these predatory companies. Secons. The owners of this company, their daughter hired a hit man to kill her ex husband. The money that paid said hitman came from the trust fund that is funded by the owners of Stampin up(her parents). So by purchasing any of their products, you're supporting the daughters lawyer fees etc. And if you dont believe me, just google Shanna Gardner and you'll see why you should NOT be supporting this company!

I'm a fan of coloring outside the lines. Thinking outside the box and YOU are right for the card making paper crafting world all the companies need to embrace one another. Like you said in today's world that IS THE WAY !!!! Maybe 20 years ago there was more competition but you see a lot of companies are working and embracing each others materials. Even working together. Giving the customer a larger creative path to follow given their own creativity and inspiration. We are all different one size one product does not fit everyone. We embrace a lot more and need to be free to do so. I'm sorry for you feeling you'd like to be a Stampin Up demonstrator however it's THEIR LOSS and OUR gain you've chosen this path. And LOVE your card. I'm a huge fan of small forest creatures and your cards depth and creative methods just wonderful. I love you cut out a full size foam layer to set the animals onto helping them get that 3D effect. Much nicer and quicker too than cutting bits of stick foam strips to do the same thing. And neater edges too. Thank you for your demonstration and your comments. Huge fan.

Wow! Thank you for this way to use the wax seals, that is so creative and I enjoyed using the embossing folders for this purpose, it it got me thinking! How about using some of the cake decorating silicone moulds (have a few of those 🤣) and yes that worked really well! 😀

Use the LEE Highlighter tape. It's awesome

A Q tip works great for cleaning the pad. I work foe a craft store and they told me the Nuvo glue doesn't do well in colder weather. Well as it turns out they were right. I live in Michigan and we have very cold winters and in mt craft room I have a window just above my counter. I love it because it lets in a lot of light but it also misses with Nuvo glue. So I put it away til spring. Still didn't work until I realized the nozzles were very clogged with glue that was in there all winter. It took me a long time to soak them and I kept reaming them out with a pin. Regardless I still love the gun. I will put it away this year before we get snow. Glad you like the gun also.

I agree. You are an independent not an employee. Once you purchase the item, it's yours. The Angel policy makes no sense to me. The WHOLE reason they produce the product they do, is so people can make things from them. Why should their logo go on something I created?

I’ve just had this glue stand today and I’ve got arthritis in my hands and it’s perfect I didn’t have to squeeze hard at all ! As for sticking acetate the vest for that is sticky tape or tape runner not liquid glue . You don’t need to use that much glue to stick anything down I’ve used Nuvo glue for over a 2 years now and it’s my go to quick grab glue . This is my option and my findings with this price of kit .

This isn't 100% true. You can use anything you want, you just can't make money from competing products. You can't sell SU as well as have affiliate links for competing products.

I really appreciate this information because I have what I describe as a bone spur on my thumb knuckle close to my palm. I just woke up with it one morning. 😳 So knowing the strength you need and seeing where the handle presses on your thumb, it would be wasted $$$s for me. Thank you. I love your Whale in a Bottle. I have it but I just haven’t assembled it yet.

I use Tombow removable tape runner. I have to clean the platen every once in a while, but it works for me.

I've never seen anyone with this issue. Did you curl or ball the tape on the back? I just fold thenon sticky in half and lay it down on the plate

They are greedy and selfish I just signed up but don’t think I am lasting long it’s not like we get the product for free 20% is a bit of a joke Michael’s craft store offers a 20% cupón every time you shop and 30 40 and 50% every few weeks

I disagree with parts of your review. I have some arthritis and find the glue press very easy to use. It's comfortable for me and I do a lot of small intricate pieces, so it is well worth the cost to me. I can't tell you how many different small tipped glue bottles I've bought and had to throw away for the same reason.....clogging! I, too, have a scrap basket that collects the bits and pieces and I dig through it and many times for just that scrap I need. Happy crafting.

I saw yesterday temu has very cheap dies and stamp die sets. I havent got them but very cheap.

I like the punch. I got a heap of punches yrs ago then cheap at a estate sale. Watch for those. I shouldn't buy more i have cricut. 😅 I want to get the punch or doe to makeslider cards. A die would be better.

I am about to join. I want to work with people with disabilities. Got told you cant use other stuff I already have. Thats not fair and who cares. I would use stamping up for regular class. I still have boxes of stamps, entire sizzix, cricut, stuff from other companies. Got told im not allowed to use. I havent gone ahead either. Like im likely giving the people my okder papers etc as they cant afford.

That was fun…I played along as I just got my BP and I know how easy it s! Saw that yellow tape and figured that was the problem. But watched to end to see when your light bulb would turn on! You were a really good sport about it! FYI, I use a little roller adhesive on the back top corners….works well and no bulk.

You are the ONLY person that's admitted how hard it to squeeze the handle repeatedly. I have arthritis in my hands and have asked a lot of other reviewers about the squeeze and if I could do it, and all said it wouldn't be a problem. I even contacted the company asking about it when it first came out and got no response, which made me leery to purchase one. I really appreciate your honest review..Sandy

Hello @Stephanie Chestnut- I just found your channel. Great ideas here! What is the item under your inverted glue bottle? The pink thing? I assume it keeps glue from leaking out……

It's obvious---the tape on the back of paper gives a deeper impression.

I am a hobby demo and follow many business demos. To my understanding is you can use other products but if they have the same product you can’t have affiliate links. For example SU doesn’t have a misty tool. So you can have an affiliate link for My Sweet Petunia for Misty stamping platform. You can show other stamps but those you can’t have affiliated link for those. I hope this helps.
