I’m long overdue for a rewatch of this. Walter Hill is one of my favorites too. I think he was definitely going for a Wild Bunch ending. What an incredible cast. Great review Joe!

The beginning is great -“some say the earth is like an onion with many layers” Nobody ever thought that. 😂 Another great Nestor Paiva role. And Alan Napier as the High Priest.

Extra pickles 🥒! I remember watching the Beguiled and feeling so weirded out as a kid! Also seeing Alan Alda in a movie like that was strange the first time I saw it. You got hooked up again for sure!

You couldn’t take your eyes off of him. Looking forward to rewatching High Noon and other westerns to check him out. It doesn’t surprise me he was a sharpshooter - he handles weapons so effortlessly. Great job guys

Fantastic collaboration haul! I remember the ads for Super Cops too - I definitely need to rewatch it. Ozploitation is a fun sub genre -so many good ones.

This is interesting match up . super fly is doing that 70s martial arts , Shift is just a straight up ass kicking machine. Remember shaft thru leroy out of the window.

Alligator is so much fun! The one scene that I always remember is the wedding scene... Saw it on TV and always stuck with me!

As a long time fan of Shaw Bros. films, Bruce Lee and Kung Fu Theater, this song has ALWAYS been one of my favorites. It just flows so well and is so memorable! A requirement at every wedding reception. 😆

I love the intro next to the fire. This episode is solid. Great acting all around. George Hardy who plays Bosworth was really good. He was in a movie called Dark Places with Christopher Lee and Joan Collins.

Kane Hodder was burned during a photoshoot in 1977, that went wrong. It's a horrifying story and the recovery is even worse. Check out his interviews and/or his documentary 'To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story'. He's a tough SOB. 🎃💙
