My '93 Gibson Les Paul Studio was looking a bit sad so I thought I'd give it a new look with fake or faux binding, scrapping of the lacquer edge to expose the maple underneath and some new cream plastics to give it that LP Standard look. While I was at it, there was some sharp fret sprout at the fingerboard edge so I made the fret ends a nice smooth spherical shape, really comfortable to play. ...

I take you through the making of my Rory Gallagher Replica. I didn't want to make a full Rory as it meant I would have to scrape away about 90% of the finish and as the Glarry Stratocaster copy I used had 4 pieces of basswood in different shades, it wouldn't look good! So I reversed the wear pattern and came up with my own tribute design ;0)

Sorting up a Gear4Music bass guitar, as it only had a light sand and seal coating on the guitar neck. I give it a nice vintage style stain and finish with Tru-Oil. The fretboard edges were also very sharp so I gave them a nice rolled feel too.

A comparison and sound tests between my Roland GR-20 and GR-55 Guitar Synthesizers. The GR-55 is still currently available but you can still find the GR-20 on Ebay and Reverb at a good price, still a good buy if you just need some extra sounds or string pads etc, at the touch of a button. A trip with my Mavic drone up the Glens and Lochs on the west coast of Scotland. Featuring the villages of Luss on the beautiful Loch Lomond. The former fishing village of Tarbert, Loch Fyne and Campbeltown, Kintyre at the bottom end of Argyll. Just got my DJI Mavic Air 2 drone. I passed the drone safety test, registered and got my operator ID. All legal now. My first flight from a recreation park next to Bothwell castle. This thing goes pretty fast!! Its amazing and scary at the same time ;0)
