Maraming sa mga tga-Pakil... we jst visited Virgen Dolores de Turumba, napakabait ng mga tao at pgwelcome nila sa simbahan samin, Bngyan din kme ng historical tour sa simbahan. Salamat at di nyo pinagdadamot ang mahal na birhen nawa'y biyayaan kayo ng dios.

Sa Lucban, Quezon po ba ito? Sa amin, hindi na ginagamit yung rotary bell pero sa araw-araw na naririnig ko yung kampana sa amin e masasabi kong dalawang kampana ang pinatutunog nila.

From what I have read, the word "Turumba" might have ome from two words; One is "turo", which means to point, the other one being "umbay", which is the dirge sung by the invalids or sick.
The word “Turumba” has no real Filipino or Spanish meaning. But according to the legend, “Turumba” was the sound of the drumbeats during the procession. -turmba means;Tumumba sa saya/tuwa (pag-lukso,pag-igwpaw,pag-inadak,paglukso...)
