Most Indian companies are reluctant to make the first move in terms of Climate Action. Because Climate Action involves a lot of funds and dedicated team effort which they are unwilling to commit. They are waiting for the SEBI and Company Law Board to introduce more stricter policies for make something mandatory and see how their competitors are responding to Climate Change. The seriousness of Climate is similar to Corporate Social Responsibility 2% contribution action which remains at a compliance level.
