lol expensive high quality led lights also get hot unless it's very small or not very bright... they probable wouldnt have the heat sinks if there wasn't heat

I averaged 23 MPG from Texas to Indiana and back, the best I got was 26.7 MPG. I keep track of my milage on the Fuelly app.

Just got a used 2023 F-150 2.7L ecoboost. Using eco mode a lot. First good rain I’m putting her in slippery mode to get a feel for it. Love this truck so far.

Man i legit just did this today. I feel like i get better mpg. Sport mode hold my gear in some place that i would be in 3 gear. Normal mode would have me in 5 gear which i would have to apply more gas for it to down shift.

I just bought one a few days ago, drove over 2 hrs to get it and was getting 23-24 mpg on the highway with bald tires from the dealership. Went and got new tires a couple days ago and drove around town all day today with 3 other people in the car and was getting 23.2 mpg. My gas gauge, after coming home from the 2 hr drive from the dealer on a full tank, barely budged. Was showing 98% full still! I’m loving this truck so much!

I have a 2017 F150 5.0. just heard back from the ford dealership where I brought this truck from. They think the transmission is bad.. We mainly use it to tow a 5500lb bumper pull camper.. One day after a heavy rain it started jerking while driving without a load.. worse thought was water in the fuel tank.. misfiring.. maybe bad plugs and leads. Poured additives into the tank it went away with a full tank which was odd.. then when it got to roughly half a tank it started jerking again.. It was very noticeable while towing like it changed down like 3 gears gave us a huge fright while driving at 70 miles per hour.. Same day it got stuck in 3rd gear we had to turn the truck off then back on and it fixed it for a short period of time.. And like you mentioned about the computer adapting to or learning driving habits.. So you just think towing a trailer and it's adapting to your driving while pulling a load up and down hills. Gear changing.. applying gas .. Would Cause the computer probably learn that habit.. thinks you are racing /sport mode to say.. so it saves that habit. When in reality it should not be adapting to no habits.. especially when you have 3 mode options ..standard.. tow.. sport And I mainly use tow while towing cause the gears hold me back while going down hill

Since you already had the fork terminals on all you needed to do was fold a fork over on itself or cut 1 of the fork legs off and would slide right in. That way you didn't need to do anything and keep the stock shrink tube already on it

Why a 10 spd trans in a pickup truck? The old saying goes that the more you add to anything automotive the greater the chances are of something going wrong. A trans. with half those gears set with sensible ratios & perhaps a 2 spd rear differential would be a much simpler path to travel. That would still give you 10 gears...5 low 5 high. You would even have the option of splitting the gears as you drive. Technoligy is falling over itself & costing the manufacturer of those vehicles a fortune in law suits. What many of them seem to have forgotten over the years is the fact that the most efficient way of getting from one to two is a STRAIGHT LINE!

So I bought the same one and after receiving it, I saw how little that lip was and I found your video and did exactly what you did with the 3-D pen. My question is did you use any of the superglue that they provided by putting it on your tailgate or did you just use the tape that you found? Also, did you wrap it after you put it on or before and how do I learn how to wrap something? Oh, and by the way, thanks for the video. It helped a lot.

You had better luck with Fiberwerx than I did, but that was 20 years ago. Mine was a fiasco from the time I got there until way after I got it home. They were a pretty new company then. I ended up doing 1/2 the work myself, with one of the owners over two days on what was supposed to be a one day job. Coming from over 100 miles away, with no car, the owner let me borrow one of his, and I found a motel to spend the night. The trip home was crazy, having to jury rig some parts with a stop at a luckily still open Home Depot, literally for duct tape and bailing wire. That kept the hood and bedsides from flapping and or flying away. It was not a great experience driving from their shop near San Diego to the San Fernando valley was not fun. I was able to fix all the stuff they forgot to do, and make everything work and look OK, they also gave me a bit of a price break, since I had to go buy all the hardware they didn't have. That and the bedsides were really bad examples with horrible orange peal and a few places on the fender cutouts that were paper thin. Sorry for the rant, but I have since had really good service and great parts and finish from Advanced Fiberglass Concepts. I would try Fiberwerx again, if Advanced didn't make the same part.

I've got a pair of 5in round Auxbeam 90w lights that has survived two winters in VT. Along with two yellow AuxBeam pod sets for flood and spot yellow lights. They work great and for their lower end cost they've held up amazing!🤘
