2:32 Is that The Donald?
At 0:48, that language barrier commercial would be considered offensive in 2024. But then, the commercial is from 1980. Also (not shown here) in 1981, Linda Soundtrak did a "So Hot" commercial which featured a VERY SEXY female model! I'd love to see that one again!
brings back memories, but gawd was she annoying. Proof that cocaine was the red bull of the 80's.
Wow, blast from the past. Soundtrak, BC Clark, Tall Meade Insurance. Classic Oklahoma stuff.
is this how Tina Fey got her start?
I bought some HED Cerwin Vega u 15 speakers from her 51st.& Mingo store, Wish I still had them!
what 100mbps is the best video thanks

The lost ogle just did a good interview with Linda. If you ever wondered what happened to her, Here’s the link. www.thelostogle.com/2020/05/29/original-soundtrak-an-interview-with-oklahoma-icon-linda-soundtrak-verin/
Curtis Mathes - ever heard of it?
My parents had a Curtis Mathes TV
Last TV to be made in USA
Who was that crazy guy that did this kind of thing too?
The dude that did the circle arm thing?
@@LowFlyinOK I cant remember. He almost always had sun glasses on.
G Gaylord Sartain? a/k/a Mazeppa Pompazoidi? (for Greer records & tape) 7up the UnCola .
@@Lyle_918 Oh wow! I forgot all about this old bit. Thanks for tip. It wasnt these guys. It was some guy back in the 80s that did a similar bit to Linda soundtrack. Back when satellite TV was a thing.
Doc Rock was another one who did these kind of commercials. God I miss the 80’s.
Awesome.
Linda Soundtrack is to Oklahoma just like Crazy Eddie is to NYC 😀 czcams.com/video/Ml6S2yiuSWE/video.html

Hi-Fi...that means High Fidelity...you need a test drive. It's one thing to hear it from Buck, it's another to hear it from the HK-47.
Do I need all that bass though?
Shawn Colton Oh I think you need all that bass. Youre not gonna get that without the TK-421
@@StuUngar It's the price.
I remembered these back when I was a kid, I remember one time, me and my mom was watching a movie on KOCO channel 5, and these came on every commercial break, and my mom always said she didn't like these commercials, cause it got on her nerves lol.
All you are showing is observational evidence which equally applies to a geocentric universe. The Neo-Tycho Geocentric Model perfectly explains everything you've asserted for heliocentrism. It explains the retrograde of Mars, the phases of Venus and stellar parallax. Not to mention the extraordinary fact that "every" single experiment science has conducted to prove helocentrism since the early 1800's has shown the exact opposite.....a static motionless earth. So all empirical evidence has the earth motionless. Here is one example of how desperate scientists become when they discover the possibility of geocentrism. Edwin Hubble after discovering evidence of a central earth in his telescope: Hubble in his 1937 book, "The Observational Approach to Cosmology (1937, pp. 50, 51, 58-59): …Such a condition would imply that we occupy a unique position in the universe, analogous, in a sense, to the ancient conception of a central Earth.…This hypothesis cannot be disproved, but it is unwelcome and would only be accepted as a last resort in order to save the phenomena. Therefore we disregard this possibility…the unwelcome position of a favored location must be avoided at all costs… such a favored position is intolerable…. Therefore, in order to restore homogeneity, and to escape the horror of a unique position…must be compensated by spatial curvature. There seems to be no other escape. ------------------------- Hmmmmm ....what do other scientists say about this: George Ellis: “….I can construct you a spherically symmetrical universe with the Earth at its center, and you cannot disprove it based on observations.” “you can only exclude it on philosophical ground. In my view there is absolutely nothing wrong in that. What I want to bring into the open is the fact that we are using philosophical criteria in choosing our models. A lot of cosmology tries to hide that.” George Ellis, Famous cosmologist, in Scientific American, “Thinking Globally, Acting Universally”, October 1995 ------ Stephen Hawking: And Stephen Hawking in his book " A brief History of Time" acknowledges all the empirical and observational evidence that the earth is in the center, but admits to having a philisophical approach and chooses to keep the earth out of the center because he wants to be humble! His quote in part: “…it might seem that if we observe all other galaxies to be moving away from us, then we must be at the center of the universe…There is, however, an alternate explanation: the universe might look the same in every direction as seen from any other galaxy, too. This, as we have seen, was Friedmann’s second assumption. We have no scientific evidence for, or against, this assumption. We believe it only on grounds of modesty” (A Brief History of Time, 1988, p. 42). ------------- Sir Fred Hoyle: “We know that the difference between a heliocentric theory and a geocentric theory is one of relative motion only, and that such a difference has no physical significance.” Sir Fred Hoyle Astronomy and Cosmology,1975, p. 416 --------------------- Einstein: "The struggle, so violent in the early days of science, between the views of Ptolemy and Copernicus would then be quite meaningless. Either CS [coordinate system] could be used with equal justification. The two sentences, 'the sun is at rest and the earth moves', or 'the sun moves and the earth is at rest', would simply mean two different conventions concerning two different CS [coordinate systems]." -"The Evolution of Physics: From Early Concepts to Relativity and Quanta, Albert Einstein and Leopold Infeld, New York, Simon and Schuster 1938, 1966 p.212 ************************* Max Born said in his famous book,"Einstein's Theory of Relativity",Dover Publications,1962, pgs 344 & 345: "...Thus we may return to Ptolemy's point of view of a 'motionless earth'...One has to show that the transformed metric can be regarded as produced according to Einstein's field equations, by distant rotating masses. This has been done by Thirring. He calculated a field due to a rotating, hollow, thick-walled sphere and proved that inside the cavity it behaved as though there were centrifugal and other inertial forces usually attributed to absolute space. Thus from Einstein's point of view, Ptolemy and Corpenicus are equally right." ************************ “Thus, even now, three and a half centuries after Galileo's condemnation by the Inquisition, it is still remarkably difficult to say categorically whether the earth moves, and, if so, in what precise sense.” Julian B. Barbour ---------------------------------------------------- Galileo was wrong, the church was right
+R Eclavea (reclavea) lol
+Ron E "Not to mention the extraordinary fact that "every" single experiment science has conducted to prove helocentrism since the early 1800's has shown the exact opposite.....a static motionless earth." Except that even Tychonian model tells us that Earth spins around it's axis.
Kalle Last Uh.....no it doesn't. The Neo-Tychonian model has the earth motionless and situated in the universe's "center of mass."
Ron E, do explain how Neo-Tychonian model explains day and night cycle without Earth spinning around it's axis. Sun, planets and entire night sky spins around us once every 24h? Btw, does that model take law of gravitation into account or does it pretend that Sun doesn't have any gravitational effect on Earth?
Kalle Last If you use Einstein's relativity....physics cannot tell you which is happening. Is the earth spinning on it's axis every 24 hours or is it the universe? Newton equations we're limited to a "closed" system......the Solar System. Mach in the 19th century showed that to use Newton's equation would result in error because the whole mass of the universe ...ie stars, galaxies....etc must be incorporated into the equation. Einstein incorporated Mach's Principle into his theories. When Mach's principle is taken into account with the whole universe....then the earth can occupy the "center of mass" of the universe and be static in the center of the universe. These are what all the experiments in the 1800s has shown. Arego, Airy, 1913 Sagnac, 1925 Michelson/Gale Experiment...... and the infamous Michelson/Morley Experiments in 1881 and 1887. All showing a Static Earth.
Annoying 2sellhomes got me.
I wound up here bc 18002SELLHOMES kept talking about Linda Soundtrack and the curiosity got the cat and had to look this person up. IMO Paulette doesn't look like Linda.
*****, I hadn't known of Lynda Cavanaugh or Sound Track until I saw the infomercial and they said it in a round about way. I finally decided to look her up bc they say that she looks like her & I had no idea who either one of them really were til now. :-)
***** I'm from Stillwater. I do get channel 4, I just don't watch it very often, lol. I've seen Lynda doing the infomercials for quite a few yrs I've just not thought of linking the 2 ladies familiarity with one another. :-)
***** that would be nice but I think they are more interested in brain washing the younger generation instead of educating them.
Reminds me of simpler times
Leroy is actually doing pretty damn good in Florida. So he's not just gone. Hater
Ah, memories.
Ended up here because I was looking up who Linda Soundtrack is since they mention her on the 1-800-2sellhomes commercial. Didn't know who she was talking about.
Same here. Now I remember the commercials as a child. The commercial at 1:17 brings it all back.
My Duncan and Me Same here.
Shes my auntie :D
I remember watching the original episodes of Star Trek at 10:30 pm on KTUL channel 8. These commercials and the Best Shot Waterbed commercials seemed to be the only ones that were on during that time LOL
Don't forget the D-Con bug spray commercials with Muhammad Ali.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for putting this together!! {{{Okie love}}}
she didn't build that :D
chill the fuck out dude
You do know I wrote that comment 4 years ago.......right.
sounds good to me

Amazing! The very people who should NEVER reproduce are often the ones that do.
Now Leroy is like Soundtrack...gone.
@hassoow93 We have a baby on the way, thats why all the clothes are on the floor going through sorting.
These commercials were as identifiable to those of us that grew up in Oklahoma as the B.C. Clark's anniversary sales commercials every Christmas.
"Soundtrak's on the right track!" Still remember that jingle...thanks for the upload!
LeRoy Selmon! lmao
She deffinatly got our attn. LOL
