Big hugs 🤗 I lost my dad at 10 years old and wish I could see him again. We all have issues with our parents and I think that generation find it harder to be maternal. If I was you I would try and get back in contact with your dad but know that you can’t change the way our parents are and don’t take things personal as they are from a different generation. We have to accept their flaws and just try and build a friendship with them as they may find being a parent difficult. You are lucky to have your grandparents so see the positives. You got this and your mum is with you always x

I will be praying for your Grandma sending hugs. We are shielding due to my sons medication it is scary times but we can all get through this. And at least they are aware on it in the home and they can deal with it quickly

Hi Jocelyn, I went to your high school (RHTC) and Dan was always horrible. I remember adding him on Facebook when it first came out and he inboxed saying “why the f- would I want to be friends with you” amongst other insults. It’s not pity when someone says it’s bad that you went through hell with him, because it is. As far as your grandad goes I don’t think he meant to hurt your feelings, and I’m sure if someone told you something you knew you would respond in a similar way of “yes, I know that”

You have to be strict with yourself, I’m the same I struggle to love myself but I just got to try to accept I am who I am and that won’t change. You can do anything you put your mind to you just need to keep going try to do something small each day and the next day do a little more if all mounts up. You can do it you seem lovely keep strong and tell your self your amazing 💪🏻💖
