My big brother Steve introduced our whole family to Queen, he would have been 61 on 1/5/‘23 (he died a couple of weeks after his 58th birthday) I always loved his playing of this album & tbh any Queen album, anything up to & including News of The World would be cranked up to 11 (or maybe even 12). I didn’t go to his funeral. I wanted to remember him in his late teens when he was so full of life & as he said himself “I’m a lover not a fighter!” if you knew Steve you know what I mean. he was Steve to us but to his mates he was Jacko! he even had it tattooed on the back of his neck fgs! anyway Steve, this one’s for you “Big Bad Steve!” 🥰
Led Zeppelin is that band that influenced literally millions of young musicians, and still is today. They're also that band that changed music publishing and touring fees for all bands, who would make much more money than before. Queen is that band that created some of the most intriguing, emotional music ever written. It might interest you to know that in 1974, Queen asked Led Zeppelin manager Peter Grant to be their new manager.
SHA and then JAZZ for me saw them southern calif news of the world tour (1);Jazz tour (2) the game all (4) shows hot space all(4):shows sadly they didn't tour USA for the woks or a kind of magic saw brian 1993 hollywwood at the palace oh and Queen Mary Innueendo and hollywood records bash great caaviar met Brian and Roger
Jazz is awesome w/ mustapha fbgirls jealousy if u can't beat them let me entertain you dead on time leaving home don't stop me now more of that jazz.... Those 70 albums with Brian and Roger singing lead vocals on some of their songs really added to the diversity of this band
I used to smoke a ton of pot.....not anymore now.....BUT I listened to this through headphones.....living at my grandparents. They treated me so well after my mom died at 36 years old. They were the best .....I miss them everyday.
These comments on famous bands and/or classic rock are almost always the same: endless platitudes of abysmally unoriginal commenters trying their best to out-gush/out-cliche each other, as they're completely incapable of coming up with anything that could pass for a new idea or actual meaningful observation. Pathetic.
Liked them best in the early days when they did rock and brought to us best songs and music ever. Beat concerts were small, in the theatres and not arenas. Music then changed to meet their masses. Yet they individually managed to shine
This medley is so everything I could ever ask for. Simply Queen, simply brilliant, simply sublime. The cool, simple, nostalgic track by Roger is way underrated. Flick of the wrist is a classic, can't go wrong there. The song showcases Freddie at his nastiest. Lilly of the valley is a testament to the existing softer side of Freddie's thoughts on love.
ma ci rendiamo conto che cazzo di musica era questa? e adesso ci dobbiamo sorbire le cagate dei gruppi di oggi che non sanno neanche mettere in fila due accordi...
The greatest Queen album of all time…. Queen two, not far behind… A night at the opera a close third, News of the World, A Day at the races and the rest in your order…. The Game gets a special mention… ❤️love to all Queen fans….
The best album segue in the history of rock. Sheer Heart Attack was the first album I ever bought at the age of 15. I loved Freddie in his androgynous heyday and listening to this helped me get over being dumped after one date by my first love.

Best EP in my vinyl collection.
Does anyone on here realize that Marc Martel is also absolutely amazing?! In case you haven't heard of him....
He’s WAY better than Adam lambert
The only way to listen to these tracks
The best way is probably the vinyl
I know all lyrics by heart!
Happy birthday to Freddie Mercury 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Sans la voix de Freddie, sans son âme... cela aurait pû être assez banal.
I used to smoke a ton of pot.....not anymore now.....BUT I listened to this through headphones.....living at my grandparents. They treated me so well after my mom died at 36 years old. They were the best .....I miss them everyday.
I heard this back in 1994...fred was already dead...but I realised he was alive...in fact...forever! Rog...if you are reading this.....thanks...❤

There are no words to describe this masterpiece !

Baby you've been had.
Someone gave me this album when I was 5 or 6. It's been near the top of my favorite albums list ever since.
