*Grins through tears* That was... absolutely bloody amazing. Excuse language, but words by themselves don't seem enough. I was beaming one minute, because the clips you used of Reddie, the beautiful connection they share, were perfect & well used, then sobbing the next because she was looking at her scar, and you can't help but feel the her pain. It's a masterpiece. I love the song, I've got the Meatloaf version but this was definitely the better choice for the video. Awesome! More please! :D

Its european. Your teacher should me more educated. I knew the guy who promoted it here in the UK both myself and the producer of Come Dancing had plenty to say on the subject. It was dismissed by the dance world at the time so they tried to make it a sport instead. As for any dance that cant be danced properly someone tries to re invent it. 'Dont try to fix something that isnt broke'. I'm going to stop here as this is such an exhaustve subject regards Kav Kavanagh

Dont believe everything you read. You seem quite intelligent for your age and obviously enjoy dancing, but look up the history of rock n roll and see for yourself. I'm known throughout the dance world for my controversy as I'm passionate about the real thing. Good luck with your hobby

Skipping across the dancefloor waving your arms in the air is prancing. Its not the proper way to jive, its someones ideology and as far as I'm concerned is not proper jiving. They call it latin now because it has no other identity. They had to make it acceptable when it was originally frowned upon in the 50's. This was the result? Very poor. Call it what you like but it isnt rock n roll

Thanks for the compliment. Sadly you are right its not the dance they should be doing. I taught Silvia Youngs Theatre School to do it properly for the Childrens Royal Variety Performance. The choreographer disallowed it because he couldnt do it. The kids were gutted. I have no issue with people getting enjoyment from anything. I just wish they'd get it right

I teach the real thing and have done for 25yrs. Whilst I admire their dedication and energy its the worst example of 'jiving'. In fact its not even jiving. Its plagiarism

I'm sorry, I find this style of dancing pretentious in the extreme. Nothing short of prancing about. Each to their own but there is nothing like the real thing.

The only good thing about this video is the orchestra.
