Great video, very helpful thank you. I have ran the NBD is SPSS with my dataset and have a exp(B) of 1.148, so going by your explanation for each year (my independent variable) my dependent variable increases by 14.8% (which makes sense in my case). If I want to add the 95% CI do I use the same method for the 95% Exp(B) which are 1.079 and 1.221 in my case. So will that be 95% CI = (7.9, 22.1)?
Sir, my dependent variable in regression is binary ('yes' or 'no'). Error term neither follows logistic distribution, nor normal distribution. What should I do now? Please help.
IMHO: what about log(Ndeath/(Npop - Ndeath))~XB? Logit reg will be much more powerful then P, QP or NB! + no problem with overdispersion, +simpliest interpretation, etc.

Is there any difference between Binary Logistic regression and logit model?
logit model may be Multi nomial logit, ordered logit when dependent variable is more than two categorical variable ,but Binary logistic model is related to two depended variable which are binary in nature

"No. of days stay" is not an independent variable, that is our outcome or response variable hence we should not include that as an independent variable.

hi, nice explanation, how do I construct the model for an ordinal regression?
Dependent variable will be some ordered like low, medium , high etc. similarly if possible take most of the explanatory variables are also categorised by some order. Then use SPSS or STATA software you can run Ordinal Logistic Regression. The most important thing is explanation.
