I found that using a pencil or dowel as a drainage hole allows you to was your sheath out easily wash it out and then rinse it with tap under power and it, and it will wash any dirt out easily. Using a air gun on a compressor will force dirt into the crease at the sides sometimes. I also use a very fine round brush on a long wire handle to help was it out. Thanks for the tips!

Hello, thanks for the tips. Question: I am making my first kydex press and purchased the extreme foam you suggested. I am wondering if the gap between the surfaces of the press should be made equal to the combined thickness of the two foam panels or should I shrink that gap a hair to account for foam compression?
