How much did it cost for the plungers? Will they work in a D782? Make sure you put a flapper on the exhaust for protection and cool factor.
Love the exhaust mod, the default is a complete fail, I just drive around blowing up dust.
Thanks helped a lot, I didn’t even know what the rely did,
Great video, I’m going to increase mine to 2000 psi Thanks
Your fuel pressure is pretty low at idle
Good to see you back you had people wandering what happened. I thought I would check see if you were back and was really surprised to see you.
Very satisfying video. How does this thing work on the bigger stumps? Say 18-24”? Have you ever tried any?
Great videos! I’ve been watching your channel for a year or so. Hoping to purchase a BX23 soon! I have been torn between the BX and the1025r. I really enjoy your videos, thank you for all the great information!
Why the hell is there background music? Wtf are you doing?
Good help.but get rid of that annoying background music. It’s not neeeded
Been waiting for some Kubota BX videos! Fun to watch!
You’re a very informative CZcamsr. Wish you were still making videos.
That was some good information, I have a 2015 Kubota BX 2670 front end loader, 240 hours, I think I'm going to do the transmission fluid and filter change on early, I don't like my tractor, I love my little tractor. LOL
Amazing what you do with this little BX!
POST MORE VIDEOS!!! I can’t get enough. Your content is great!
why didn't you remove the loader attachment? 5 minute job.
Nice Lob
I just got a bx23s and I’m thinking about doing some small jobs. How do you estimate your price? Like on a job like this removing some shrubs and light clean up?
Almost forgot about your channel. Was doing some maintenance on my 955 today and realized I hadn't seen anything from you in awhile so I looked ya up.
What size it your workshop? Wanting to build a small one like that
Like I said before that little BX remind me of a little ant carrying big piece of bread. Didn’t get notification on your videos didn’t know you were back, I’m still subscribed and the bell is on. Sure have missed the videos!
A peice of rope for that spring tension.
Skill putting that loader on ! Good stuff
Wonder if you could have tied the end of the tree that was down to the pull rope that would give tensioned the pull rope. If that makes any sense
i just got a 2018 with 500 hours it seems a bit noisy at the top rear of transmission it that normal?
Atta boy Biffy!!
Great video! You should do one explaining how you grade out dirt for a stone pad. My first project is a stone pad for my shed. There is a definite shortage of videos explaining the process.
Thanks man, yah I was gonna start a new video series awhile back where I walk you guys through my old videos and show you parts while explaining my thinking while doing them through out the videos but then I got caught up doing other work and never got back to it. Thanks for reminding me. Also I still plan to make a video showing how to grade while wearing a wireless mic so I can talk through what I’m doing and why as I know a lot of guys have been asking. Thanks for watching!
You should do videos of you driving the Dodge as well.
Yes sir!
love seeing what the little tractors can do! Have you considered getting a rear mower instead of the mid mount? Seems like you could use the clearance here and there.
Thanks! I have debated on getting a rear mount mower but havnt ever pulled the trigger on one, but I want one mainly for doing big fields and such for jobs I do. As for the belly mower getting in my way.. I just take it off when I really need to. Lately I havnt been pulling it off as much as I use to though because now my trailer is wide enough to haul the tractor with it on.. but indeed it makes some jobs a lot easier with it off, I just need to take it off more often lol
Biff; When cutting from a ladder you might consider using a cinch strap to secure your ladder to the tree and tie yourself off. A hard hat wouldn't hurt either in the case a dead branch should fall from above.
Good thinking, a cinch strap woulda made that old ladder more stable too. I had forgot to bring my pole saw with me so I had to use the home owners ladder and that thing was about as wobbly as a new baby cafe lol. Thanks for the comment
@@BiffsEquipment The problem with ladders is the large limbs being cut can drop down in a safe area but if they land on their tips they can bounce back and take the ladder out from under you and you end up on the ground usually in a bad way. I have a bx2370 and really enjoy your videos and the effort you put into them.
For anyone curious.. it was 90 degrees in the shade that day with 80% humidity.. my cameras and all my equipment were not having it.. this is why some of the footage gets choppy or cut short at times in the video.. I almost got heat stroke. It’s safe to say we were all fighting the HEAT! PS. Thanks to my brother who leant me his long tree rope 👍🏻
Nice work Biff. That grapple is a game changer for the BX. Anything to keep you in the tractor seat is a worthwhile attachment.
Thanks Steve, you got that right buddy. The home owner and neighbor were really impressed with it, neither one of them had ever seen an Artillian grapple before and were amazed at the loads I was able to haul out of there with it and the minimal hand work that had to be done. Having a grapple is certainly a game changer
Great job , I think your brother did trees , lol
Haha yep he still does! That was actually his rope I borrowed! So I owe some of the job to him 👍🏻
Oh and thanks, the cool music is back!
Glad you liked it!
Nice job, as usual
Thanks Ron! She was really happy to not have to look at that ugly tree anymore!
Welcome back, Biff! Good work there 👍
Thanks Nick! How’ve you been doing lately? Did you catch my last video?
@@BiffsEquipment been doing good, Biff 👌 yeah talk about heat it’s been in the 90-90’s here in SC! 90 degrees and 90% humidity 🥵 I’m from up north and do not miss the snow and cold 🥶 You know you are the BX “Master FEL Operator”. A quick video about how you use the FEL like a ninja might get me to the next level. That level scraping like a bulldozer and then the final smooth out. It seems easy until you try it! I have over 600hrs on my BX so I know a little bit. Anyway, thanks for your content and God bless you and yours!
My butt hole was puckering when you backed off the trailer.
Haha yah it’s def a bit sketchy the first few times I ever went on and off that trailer as the ramps were modified so they would work to fit the width of my tractor.. (it was only suppose to be temporary till I welded hinges to them but never got around to it) now Iv gotten use to the sketchy situation and don’t worry anymore but still want to get those hinges made up.. maybe in an upcoming video 🤔
Nice setup man, love your shop, maybe one day I’ll have one😩
Thanks buddy! You’re a hard working man with great drive, I have no doubt you’ll have a wonderful shop some day! Having a nice garage to work out of was a game changer for sure.. knowing where all your tools are and being able to work out of the weather while having ample space is a blessing!
Don't get weeds wrapped around the driveshaft from engine to transmission. Also, have a mower on the back so you can clear a path while toting limbs.
Thanks Jack. From all the land clearing jobs Iv done with this tractor Iv never had an issue with anhtbjnf getting wrapped around the driveshaft. I have gotten a few sticks shoved up into thr HST fan though but have been fortunate to never have broken it with all the amount of stuff Iv put this tractor through. Thanks for the comment
Great video.
Thanks Jeff, hope you been doing good! Did you ever find yourself a nice Cummins?
I love my bx23s. Bought in 2020 and have over 500 hours. So many uses, but has its limitations.
Sounds like you vern putting her to work over the last few years! They are really REALLY tough machines. Iv got over 1,000 VERY hard hours on my tractor.. with many of them purely abuse to the thing and it has yet to give me an issue yet. Just takes it and grins! I’m waiting for the day my axle finally lets out haha
Great info Well done Thanks 28:41
Sure thing buddy, thanks for watching !
I saw some valves like that on ebay (vevor?),but I didn't think they had the load check valve.... I've got caught out lifting things and having them drop before they lift, how did yours go?
This loader valve is doing great! My brother has been using it on his tractor and used it all winter to plow and never had an issue with it yet. I’m not sure what you mean about it dropping before you lift.. it’s never had any issues like that. It has an adjustable relief valve where you can adjust the pressure you need which should be set by the hp of your tractor. As for the one thing it’s missing is it’s missing a float valve.. some of the nicer ones on eBay I think have the float but the one I bought my brother didn’t come with one.
I saw some valves like that on ebay (vevor?),but I didn't think they had the load check valve.... I've got caught out lifting things and having them drop before they lift, how did yours go?
well done!! Thank you!!!
Sure thing! Hope it helps!
Dam you got some skills. Good job buddy. 👍👍
Thanks Rick! How you been doing buddy? I came across one of your old short videos a few weeks ago.. I said hey that’s Rick! It was the one where you showed off your new plow setup and tractor.. was pretty cool to watch again. Hope you and your Mahindra are doing well.. I bet your yard still looks amazing too!
Are you using the 16" bucket or the 24" ? I just ordered the 24" for my 1025R
In this video I used the 18” bucket but I also have the 24” which is great for when you need to dig down deeper or for trenching. If you watch the video where I install a gas line with my kubota bx I use the 24” bucket in that video and talk about it in detail in the intro
@@BiffsEquipment Thanks for the info. I really enjoy the videos and hope you have the free time to make more.
Thank you for your videos. I have a BX2370 (just purchased last month) and want to find a place I can purchase the same Grapple in this video. Could you help me out on a dealer? Looking forward to more BX videos. Thanks!
Hey gary! Sorry I’m just seeing your comment. The site you need to go to is “Artillian.com” or google “Artillian grapple” and it should be the first link that pops up. I just made a new video this week showing their new double grapple setup, I also leave the link to where to buy it in the video description
@@BiffsEquipment Thanks, Summit hydraulics is offering a rear hydraulic valve kit with front third function for Kubota BX series in your opinion is that the way to go to get all the hydraulics completed in one kit? Thanks!
This question is from an old video of yours. Where is the fuel screw on a zd1211? It definatley could use 5 to 10 hp
So the fuel screw is normally the one which a wire going through it.. it will be a bolt with a tiny hole drilled through the hex with a wire going through it in most cases to keep people from turning or adjusting it. Not sure which direction you’ll need to turn it but you should be able to find info online about that.. or just turn it one way a little at a time and do a hard rev with the motor to see if you see any black smoke out that exhaust.. once you start seeing it smoke more and more black out thr exhaust on a quick rev then you’ll know your going the right direction.. just be sure to count how many turns you are taking that way if you need to bring it back to where it was you can. Hope this helps!
I like the grapples....but unless you are a large landowner or in the tree business, it is hard to justify the expense when trees and limbs can be moved for a small investment. Most of the guys I see on youtube with gapples seem to just move trees and debris from one pile to another pile...I just don't see the need for that...do away with it and then there is not need to keep moving around...unless you just want to use the grapple.
I feel grapples are one of the best tractor tools in modern time! Def well worth the money though the ones I use are quite expensive. You can buy ones from other aftermarket company’s tho such as land pride and spend a lot less money which may make it more worth it for a guy who doesn’t have a ton of uses for it. Grapples are great for anyone who does side work like you said but also for anyone who has a lot of land they need to maintain.. as there are always trees that blow over or limbs that break off and there’s always some set amount of yard cleanup you need to do each spring and things like that.. now could you get by with out one? Sure.. but dang is it nice to be able to grab whatever you want and securely carry large loads where before you’d have to use a set of pallet forks or a bucket to load sticks and branches into by hand before loosely carrying them away. Thanks for the comment!
@@BiffsEquipment I don't disagree...but I don't think most people can justify the expense for what they have to do as they can do it for near no investment. I have a decent amount to do but I can take care of mine with about $300 invested and it does a good job and doesn't take that long to do it. If I were in the business of handling debris, I would certainly have the grapple...in that situation, time is money.
