Ejector is my problem, extractor seems to work fine. I’m told that realignment or replacement of the ejector will correct the issue with mine

Great looking rifle Boyds is about 30 miles away from me . I have a Savage in 22 250 LH I to shoot Lefty but I'm right handed if I would change out to a Boyds stock it would be in the new Yellow Jacket Color.

Yep. I got mine for about $269 before the China plague and also put a Boyds laminate wood stock on it. I have two of them at the same price and both with Boyds stocks. A .22-250 with a FT Featherweight thumbhole at $144 and a .223 with a Prairie Hunter at around $200. Both pepper color. I also replaced the extractor and ejector on both bolts with Improved Extractor kits from Sharp Shooter Supply. I have no extraction problems anymore. Both are now very accurate with the new CNC machined tight fitting stocks. The factory plastic polymer stocks had vibration, flex, and whip that ruined the potential accuracy of the rifles. Even bracing and bedding them did not eliminate the whip in the thin grip area. The stock is one reason why they were so cheap and they skimped on the bolt extractors and ejectors with ones that were too small and weak causing extraction problems. Savage does make left handed versions. Thanks for sharing.

stop shooting winchester 22 ammo. it's crap.

It is easy to solve, the problem is the space in the ejector, you must push the ejector down with a screwdriver to straighten it and that's it, you will have no more problems. Regards !!

Bought mine back in December. After about 300 rounds this is what happened. I just sent it back to the factory. And I like Smith and Wesson but this is a defect. They should recall all of them and fix the extractor problem.

Just bought one of these for my son as a Christmas present. Jammed non-stop from the get go. Looked up the simple fix on youtube (slightly bending the extractor) and we ran about 2000 rounds through it without any further issues over the next couple of hours plinking on our land. Ran all kinds of ammo, CCI, Aguila, thunderbolt, no problems. Kinda wish I'd bought this for myself. Lots of fun!
