Highlander/ Best Tarzan ever in my opinion He was even asked to be Riggs in lethal Weapon but he turned it down. One of the reasons was he said it did not feel right, too him. Especially was told it would be a franchise he said not to it even more. He says, not of just that bit acting for him was a delight not so much programs multi million but he said for a love of his own characters so he said no. A Shame but understand why. I watched Highland 2 and 3 but was so upset, I only watch 1 now. Not knowing why your immortal which as Ramirmez says there is no reason, accept it..then from a different planet... no not for me. I adore Christopher any guy that puts enjoyment instead of money gets 2 thumbs up. He has always been one of the nice ones.😅 I wish I had know he was In my home country of Scotland I would have gone!!

The first movie as a kid that had me in awe! I know its frowned upon today and maybe looks dated in terms of effects but Christopher Lambert was so charismatic and the music was perfect. Srill love the film hope the remake does it justice.

I had the chance to meet actor and producer Bryan William Cook in a restaurant in Berkhamsted (UK) years ago and he told me that he was a very difficult actor to work with while they were filming in Italy "The Sicilian". He had difficulties on memorizing his lines and act. I immediately said "how come, he did the highlander?". He smiled and he replied that he become good over the years. Micheal Caine was demanding but he was always in the carachter. Talent does exist, but you need to practice.

Years ago, when I was working in F1 racing, I was in the pits after a practice session at Monaco, and I saw a guy who was clearly a spectator. I watched him for a moment to see what he was about: very casual attire, slightly unkempt hair and granny glasses. I thought, “what kind of guy hangs out in the pits on a Saturday afternoon” and it turned out he was a Highlander, Tarzan kind of guy. Lambert was watching and minding his own business without an entourage or guide. I guessed he knew what he was looking at, and I was pleased he wasn’t acting in any way like a Hollywood actor might act in the same circumstances. I never saw him at another race, but I hope he enjoyed his visit . . .
