Mactan-Newtown Blgd One Cluster one is infested with rats in the ceilings, and many of the AirBnB units have roaches. If the maintenance crew answers your questions truthfully, you'll seek other places to stay. Mactan-Newtown is a prime example of what may look good in the Philippines, which is not always as it seems.
That's ukulele not a guitar....I really wanted to know what the prices were...
I actually purchased a Ukulele, so the prices are mentioned in the video. 😉

glad I came across this video. I'll be staying at the Mactan condo's there in sept of this year. I was curious how to get to the beach and you literally videotaped it. awesome. I am looking forward to the christmas holiday festivals they have there . I'll be there for at least 9 months, maybe more. I am retired and excited in some new adventures. I'm still working on my bucket list. the only one I'll probably not do is sky diving. hahaha.

Love or hate city life, nothing in the Phils compares to BGC. Not even Makati. You might like one or the other, but drawing comparisons is not legit.
Of course you can compare one place to another! Comparing the differences between two places or things happens every day. Why is that not "legit" ..? I'm not saying one is better than the other; I'm just drawing comparisons

It's very much cheaper in IT Park the Condo rent than in BGC.
BGC is unbeatable it is far more developed with good pavements of asphalt road with nice marking, ultra modern highrise buildings and the overall environment is really similar to Miami or Singapore. Mactan NT. is just nice in a good way it is a developed area of LapuLapu City while in CEBU CITY they have IT and Business Park both are quite huge compared to Mactan NT.

MIAMI AND SINGAPORE? NOPE..BGC has no Beach...Mactan Newtown is better since it has beach even if it is small.... Mactan Newtown is also near to the airport and luxurious beach of Mactan...BGC, albeit more luxurious, cannot beat that
Foreigners love Cebu over Taguig
Recomendation : Just try to go to CEBU SAFARI WILD ADVENTURE.

I've been there before. I stayed for a long time, it's very nice there. There's actually just a bunch of young, pretty girls. 1/2 of the guys want to be ladies, so the real ladies are hungry for men there. It's amazing.

IT park is only less than 20hectares with short height of highrise buildings and not really modern like its road is not fully asphalt and the road marking isnt really good while BGC is really far more developed and wide with aproximately 450+ hectares and home with the tallest building in the Philippines the Grand Hyatt Manila that stands 318 meters high. IT park is just a small complex in BGC and less developed.
But Foreign tourist like Cebu over Taguig
They should connect Cebu Business Park and IT Park into one big park. That would make a lot of sense.

Yes this is the best idea for Mactan.. make it an urban development. The rocky soil there doesn't for any agriculture. Even beaches have mix of rocks ad sands.
