This really helped me. I have the MSI: GS66 Stealth (mfd 2020). The thing literally came with a busted keyboard from the pawn shop. They lied and said it was just 2 keys and update the keyboard driver to fix it.The bad part is the ribbon cables are all fed under the motherboard (not underneath battery), so to reseat them is a real pain. The touchpad cable was loose and the mouse would drop/not respond (fixed). The keyboard has clusters of keys that are just dead, they feel mechanically sound, seems to be shorted out. Maybe it got wet. Troubleshooted thoroughly, it boots up and runs well with windows 10. Keyboard replacement coming soon. Great informative & helpful 👍

Hello, is there a website I can go to buy the keys? Mine are worn out from gaming and you can barely see the letters. It bothers me a lot to look at them

I don't recommend doing it this way, the plastic doesn't hold and it cracks. After a while, you have to use the keys slightly sunken in. If possible, buy a top case keyboard and touchpad together.

Champion, excellent video. In my case, all the keys on my keyboard work correctly except the power button, when the computer is off I have to press it several times to turn it on. Could it be a keyboard problem or another problem? What do you recommend me?

You should include the costs and what gpu cards are compatible with it. Whats the cpu in it? Is it worth the money vs a new machine to just upgrade it?

You can put aluminum foil over the end of your soldering iron to keep from gumming it up with the melted plastic.

I love the display, its great. My only concern is that there is no sound coming out of it. It has th sound option on the monitor plus I also see it as an option on my computer, but there is still no sound.

i got a va panel before, it was a 32 curved benQ, normal price was like 800 on for 500, and i gotto say it was the best looking monitor ive ever seen, it was just amazing, but i returned it because the image ghosting/smearing was so bad, i was so sad afterwards because the ips panel i got did not look anywere near as good.... although it had no ghosting whatsoever

I own this bought in 2017 $279 usd before tax. I can honestly say it was a big disappointment. The sound is the lowest volume I have ever experienced on a device you definitely need headphones. The build is great nice metal and solid but the operation not so good. The touchscreen on mine had what they call ghost touch it would just start go crazy flipping through videos on CZcams when nobody was touching the thing lol. I read someplace that it was possible to put a Linux distro on it. Anyway it’s been sitting in a drawer for about 5 years. I decided to pull it out tonight and see what I can use it for.
