I bought my Bur Oak tree when it was about 6 inches tall 5 years ago. It's now reached twelve feet tall! It grows very well in the red clay soil of western North Carolina.

Dallas red Lantana can be trained to grow upright with stakes. I've had it grow 5 ft tall with the help of stakes and garden twine. Hummingbirds and butterflies love Dallas Red and Luscious Citrus Blend in my south central Pennsylvania garden, zone 7a. I overwinter Lantana in my unheated basement by cutting it back and watering very infrequently. It goes dormant and when spring comes I take the pots outside and it wakes up. Guess you can tell I really love Lantana.

Pride is a sin, according to the Most High. He does not call for us to be prideful, but rather humble. // SHLM & HaB (peace & love). The Name of the Creator is Hayah Asher Hayah, as what He told Moshah (Exodus 3:14), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. There is a curse to the G-o-d name (Isaiah 65:11-12), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. All followers of the Messiah are to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animal sacrifices, following the Crucifixion of the Messiah. We are now of the order of MLK TSDQ (King, righteous), to Whom ABRaHM tithed. Ask the Messiah to be your personal Savior. He said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). ...for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Hayah (Romans 3:23). The wages for sin is death but the gift of ALaHYM is Everlasting Life through Messiah Yahushgh our Master (Romans 6:23). That if you confess with your mouth the Master Yahushgh and believe in your heart that ALaHYM raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). He Himself is an Atoning Offering for our sins, and not for ours only but also for all the world (1 John 2:2).

Hi Dave, great video! I have a smaller Vitex that is about a 15 gallon. Once it blooms in summer, the blooms only last a couple of weeks. How do I get it to bloom again? Should I be deadheading the blooms after they die? Or just leave it alone until I prune it again in Wimter/early Spring?

Oh no, now I want to grow them all but can't buy bulbs in Quebec. Some stores recieve one or two varieties $10 for a small to medium bulb. I tried one and it didn't grow, only made mold. Found one as a potted plant last year in the "Mother's Day" plants rack for gifts, $15. Kept the bulbs in Fall, and they all grew back when replanted in April. So it definetly was a dead bulb I purshased last year. Sad. You're blessed with such nice plants in the USA.

What Lantana varieties are in the bed you demonstrated? I can't tell if they are mounding, where there are several clumped together, or trailing. Because they aren't too tall, they look a lot like the Bandana series. I do have to chuckle though. The comment about not getting a lot of cold in the Dallas area pretty much was disproved in February 2021 when the "storm of the century" roared through most of Texas and a lot of the South. We're in Central Texas and experienced the same storm. A majority of plants were replaced after that storm.

They are not siberian Iris. An arboretum should know better. These are so called Dutch iris from around the Mediterranean.
