Hello, The Fires of Purification are a religious concept in witchcraft, let's not get that confused with some nazi/fascist bullshit, thanks. This is a clever play on two concepts: Being burned at the stake (where that concept was turned against witches) and the religious concept of the flames of purification. The songwriter is a witch, I understand that takes some homework to understand. :/
