Great second place to quit humble bundle reviews that I like. First one I had to unsubscribe (would have to youtube search to find them (Edit: was Bombchu I think and now they have not made anything in like 10 months)) since what they decided to do was not was I was looking for. Think this will happen here. I would have rather seen it later than just abandon it. Well, at least you get some engagement from me typing this out.

im sorry to hear that you're going to stop doing these reviews, like many here I have really been enjoying your work! But your decision is perfectly understandable, doing these videos is ton of work. Have you considered maybe giving yourself more time before releasing your videos , for example 2 weeks instead of 3 days, would that help?

"Cities Skylines in space". Man, you know EA fumbled hard when people stopped using "SimCity in space" as the comparison for this sort of game. A shame to see these ends, but you gotta put your personal life first and that's understandable. I hope these return at some point, but you take care of yourself first, and even if they don't come back it's been a joy to watch them until now.

A great and sad month. 2 wishlists, 3 ignored, and somehow redeemed everything. I don't have any huge deal breaker, but none of the games seem so bad I don't want to check. The journey stays even when it ends. o7

I like when you covered the couch co-op games you were playing with your daughter. My kids are much younger but we have been looking for games to play together and that hit at just the right time! I like having 2 different reviews, you guys have different style and tastes and I can relate/or not to part of both... youre doing an awesome job, maybe there's a way to put less time in it and still have a quality review. change the formula a bit... merge part of the effort with the other guy... Damn...just damn, man. I'm going to miss comparing our thoughts. Others have started reviews and stopped in the time since I began, and it's always sad to see them go. You've been such a fixture over the years that I pretty much wouldn't have saw this coming. I completely get it though. Your experience with doing a Humble Review basically mirrors my own. I have to stay up late and dedicate those days once the bundle drops to not much else other than the review. Trying to return to normalcy was definitely hard for me because I'd take it easy way too much after a review only to then be like, "Oh, I have two weeks before I have to do it all over again." Thank you for passing the torch, so to say, over to me. That means a lot. But you do have one more month left so I'll stop with the goodbyes. You ain't done yet! And maybe we'll at least catch you in some other video content as well. I'll keep an eye out!

Really unfortunate to see you go. I have relied on your reviews for years, they've been great summaries. Your reviews have always seemed consistently honest and always worth the watch. I have had the Humble Choice since 2018, and only in the last couple years started skipping months I wasn't interested in, and those were largely based on your reviews. It's really unfortunate that Humble declined to at least get you access early. You produce a quality video every month on schedule, and even if you don't like a game personally, you have rarely completely blasted it. It seems obvious that you drive some traffic for them. It's truly their loss.

Amazing work over the years. Going to be a shame not seeing the monthly pop-up but I get it, thanks for the reviews. You've probably been one of the key reasons I've kept some months I'd have skipped (and saved me money in months I was keen for but ultimately decided against) and haven't regretted it. Big thanks.

NGL I am a bit sad. You've been a recognizable voice accompany many of us through the years of Humble Choice. It might be interesting once you know longer are forced to play them to come back and tell us what games you revisit. What games stick with you. I'm sure you already have some but I get there will be even more after some time to decompress.

Just wanted to say I've always loved watching your Choice reviews, though also absolutely understand the decision here, and I appreciate offering an alternative going forward. Thank you for all these years of reviews, and I do look forward to any future videos like the SR2 one! As for this month's Choice, it was an insta buy for me because of Cosmic Shake, I've had my eye on that game for a while and am glad I can get a good deal on it now. I've played through the main story of it (still got a lot of collectables to get) and I'm happy to say it's a solid time overall! It's not quite to the level of Battle for Bikini Bottom, but it takes a good bit of inspiration from it and has a lot of charm. At times it can rely a bit too much on old references and memes, but when it tries to do its own thing it a lot of fun I think. I'm also excited to check out Guardians at some point, especially after hearing you talk about it!

I've already tried Guardians on gamepass when I had it but could never get into it. So for the first time I already skipped again BEFORE watching your video. That said I keep waiting for a "are you sure how about $4 off" offer but it seems like (to me) they stopped doing that.

Ooooohhh But I will not know what to do with the bundles now. I really always wait for your videos to decide and to put the games in my "to play" steam category or not. not sure why this has not had more likes,, there is a huge contrast in design and implemetation betwwen simulation and realism, as opposed to arcade style game, and what's more there is also a huge difference in tastes from the players that play them... Take me for example who genuinely will not play an arcade game purely on principal and am only interested in more realistic more immersive realism and physics stle games, using such techniques as ragdioll physics though i have to corerect you Project Caers 2 is not a realistic simulation...sure it is to the for me totally hatd games like MArio Karts, but it isn't compared with games like GTR2 Assetto Corsa Autimobilista RFactor 2 etc, and unless you play them you won't realize the differences.. However i will add that wha brought video games to adult players was this change to more immersive titles during the boom of certain consoles like the playstation, just look at the type and style of games which made is so popular, and you will find that simulation and realism to increase the games immersibe feel where the main factors, completely obvertaking the likes of Nintendo and Sega at the time from which they have never really recovered,,, So devs don't ever believe you can design games that will satisfy both arcade and sim players, because you can't everything about both totally contrasts with the other..

Both of these games excel at different things Dead Cells is all about gameplay Hades is all about story Simple as that

One Question... If i get the Humble Choice right now, I will get this games?

Ghost Runner 2's first boss was pretty hard at first... i tried to learn how to counter all his moves, but since you get one chance it was easier said then done... at the end you can really just hook shot from side to side and win with out any effort

Well Dead Cells is extremely overrated with egregious level design, horrible hit/enemy detection, abysmal camera, 5 year healing time (which you have to hold to do even though every other action in the game is press a button), and absurd enemy stacking, so I'm gonna go w/ Hades on this one.

DONT PLAY DILUVIAN ULTRA!!!!!. Please everyone who gets this game dont play it. It is an early access game without the game. You can get softlocked and not even be able to play the game. Kinglink was right mostly but DU is PU and should be in the miss column. Also this bug has been know for since at least November and has not been fixed. They want you to beta test the game and this is only 1/3 of the whole thing and will have 2 paid for DLCs from what I am seeing.

Sifu on pc sold me on this bundle. Only had it on Switch before, so it will be nice to play at a higher framerate. Good to see that Astral Ascent gets high praise since i was on the fence about it based on the trailer they show. This Means Warp looks intriguing, since i loved Lovers, Overcooked. Enjoyed your video format too btw. The conclusion sections with the tierlist and the value recap is what got me to sub. Keep up the great content.

Thanks for warning me about high on life. Just form the screenshots it looked like it might be a bit of fun, but the short clip reminded me of another game I despised, Trover Saves the Universe, which as it turns out was made by the same folks. And that game was the most aggressively unfunny game I've ever played, every "joke" I encountered in that game was just shoved in your face with no setup, most of them were just mean for the sake of being mean, and the game just felt insecure, like it was so afraid that you would not get the joke that it just dragged them out so that they could repeat the "joke" part over and over. The clip from High on Life looks like the humor is identical.
