what about for technical classes like math and physics? what techniques did you use?
Hey Johnny!! Thanks for your excellent question, I only had a few technical subjects in my degree but here's what I did for each of them: 1. Statistics - I watched lectures and Khan Academy videos to understand the concepts and I used the recommended textbook for exercises and questions. 2. Foundation maths- I took this subject as an elective to boost my GPA, the math was quite basic and 80% of it was high school level, my subject had a lot of online quizzes so I did those to practice 3. Physics- I did take a physics subject in the first year, I had to use a mixture of both my active recall questions (for the theory aspect of physics) and exercises from the recommended physics textbook to practice applying the equations to scenarios. Having a strong maths background really helps in physics and also being able to 'visualise' scenarios, drawing out diagrams helped me with this part. I find that for subjects like maths and physics, more time should be spent actually doing questions and then checking them, rather than memorising theory. Hope that helps :)
