I'd aways said, 'if,' I ever moved anywhere it would have been Atlanta but moving from Chicago cost me dearly because I relocated during the city getting/preparing for the Olympics it was not easy then the bombing only made it that much worst. Then living through 3 - Freakicks (1996, 1998 and 1998 which was the essence of plan dumb/stupid which such a people nationwide coming down to Atlanta fitting in the essences of what some of the South is Generationally like more so than not! I survived that but what was a real shock to me was the Southern Mentality, ‘I’d herd mentioned here and there? I never could have believed it had I not lived through 2 years of it plus outside of the State of GA I had to deal with 8 other States of it! Lucky for me, 'if,' I was not going to be a follower up in the Northern City Chicago any other state(s) stood no chance of that either! I worked amongst a people who seem to have a genuine dislike for each other stemming back from Grammer School Days with most of the people and if not that a severe case of, 'monkey see - monkey do,' again a people who follow other people allow themselves to rule over. I had to put my foot down coming through the door that, 'I don't get down like that to I like everybody.' So that ended the expectation of HOW I'd existed in an office stetting. All Black Southern behavior was shocking shit blew my mind. That job placed me in the position of dealing with 9 southern states and I had an easier time back in 1977 - 1981 in the active Army living in Frankfurt West Germany maneuvering myself with the language barrior but had an easier time doing that than what I faced dealing with the black southern mentality but I was not no punk plus no follower either so I balanced out as I learned. Had I ONLY had to deal with the State of Georgia I'd have been just fine but a total of 9-States? No way in hell so the first chance I got to relocate I did. Besides some behaviors of a people I survived on the other hand pissed me off because I got tried a lot by mostly the black females because the male as stated, 'they were total gentleman and easy going,' but was being eaten alive by black females and the disrespect I witnessed would take a whole book to put the 24/7 into words. DEALING WITH 9 STATES OF RELIGION SHIT! Being Feminine never gave a second look, 'if it was not me,' but I never let that stop me in my life so professionally, clerically I was not no punk and that shined off me. I was cool with the females/women who allowed me to be but the others? They saw it and smelled I was not to be FUCKED (excused me) with and the shit a lot of males accepted/took I was not the one. Back in the early 80's HIV/AID's resulted in a physical/visual look that could not be 2nd guessed and during that a lot of my gay friend's came down with it and had to place in housing that nursed dying folk in their last day's and I'd visit friends ultimately making new friends because they had nobody to visit them yet care for them so I was like a magnet to them. So sad but I'd learn to visually tell when/if a person which full blown and/or on the way anyway to it! The ones I saw while living in Chicago was, 'the masculine, conceited, nasty, arrogant bitches they were, 'but when I ran into them while living in Atlanta were at least able in passing, 'get a hello out of them,' but I never sweated it when in any state/city I was living in. Educated? Aha! Via my job I had to interview a people,’ who claimed to have been discriminated against because of their, 'race/color,' what the deal with! Some shady company’s put fliers on folk's car windshield, mailboxes, etc., and the company was offering them the option to refinance their properties in return to get a nice sum of $Money in exchange$ Also there had been the same kind of company's who offered a people the option to do the same thing before, during and or after the Olympics. Same turnout at the end of it all! The black folks wherever the hell they came from paraded their asses in the HUD building located on Spring Street across from CNN News building! The majority came down to the HUD building, 'claiming to be educated right? My ass educated, 'because if one is EDUCATED,' they by the 100's would not have signed a pack of papers blinded together with staples with paper clips separating pages in which were blank sheets of papers with signatures and datelines on them with the, 'understanding,' of ONLY routine language was to be placed in the packet but advanced date and signature would expedite processing. Those folks, 'looking me on my face, 'pissed off,' but I'll bet when they got those checks using their properties as collateral, they were not pissed off then. Ultimately those cases were filed together as, 'companion cases whereas the only thing used on the final projects that would be different than the other is 1st and last names so? Now? Was it that EDUCATED being talked about? Man like I said, 'for me to give you guys the full blast it would be a book on that situation/circumstances alone?' no fabrication folk's and had I ONLY had to deal with the State of Georgia without a doubt it would have been my home! END OF STORY! (P.S., now my family members know WHY/HOW I never got to visit those folks? I was earning my early retirement during those 2-years trust me when I tell you!
